Please note, guest request are not guaranteed. You can request to be seated on the terrace, but it's not guaranteed as these tables are open to the elements. On a sunny day, tables are allocated outside based on the date the booking was made (early birds!) We will do our upmost to accommodate you outside if we can. Please call us on the day to see where you will be seated as special requests are not guaranteed. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.

The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from.
The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

                  Venue is lovely and staff are friendly. It was a lovely lunch however two main courses the chicken was dry and there was a very large wait between starters and main.

                  We were absolutely delighted with both the food quality and presentation. We are already recommending this place to others. The alongside station parking is also much better value than other nearby car parks.

                  Being told can’t sit outside as too busy at 12 when no one else is there and loads of available tables up until we left. Burger and food was close to inedible but we had just done triathlon so starving and needed food. Unable to order at bar and request for different pint glass not allowed.

                  Everything was great but the acoustics were so loud, we had to shout at each other. My dad really struggled as he wears hearing aids and they are really affected in loud atmospheres. Other than that we really enjoyed it and our waitress was fabulous !

                  The service was excellent by Natalia very friendly we had a nice table overlooking the river presentation of the food was excellent also being served hot all of this made our lunch a day to remember would I book again Yes.
