                  Very disappointing experience as in the past we have had good meals here. Two of us ordered the miso eggplant with chicken which was over $30. There was a small sliver of eggplant, about 1/4 cup chicken pieces, a piece of broccoli and some ginger on a mound of rice. The kid meals looked okay. But we were sat on a table with our young kids next to the television and at one point some older kids put on YouTube videos which were definitely not age appropriate. Why is there a large television with YouTube in a restaurant setting where there are kids? And after we left I realised we had been overcharged. We went on a Wednesday when kids eat free, one kids meal with each adult. We had 3 adult meals, 4 kids meals and 4 glasses of wine and paid $232. When I called to question it I was told we were charged for all of the kids meals. After waiting on hold I was told there was no way to refund it because we didn't bring it up when we were there. Then they said they would give us vouchers but first I had to send an email to the Boat Shed to ask for the vouchers. I sent an email and got a reply saying they would organise this. I then received a voucher for $50, slightly less than we were overcharged. And when I asked about it they told they had given me the voucher for the inconvenience. We were overcharged so while yes it was an inconvenience it is not as if they are being generous, they made an error and should be refunding it. Anyway overall a pretty bad experience and I wouldn't be going again. It is a shame because it is a great location and it used to be so much better.

                  Not usually one to write reviews but honestly food was yummy! Probably one of the best services from front of house ever experienced ( I work in hospitality as a chef so have seen a lot in the industry) so walked away really impressed with how friendly and inviting all staff were. Well done guys be really happy with your extra efforts it defiantly paid off. Thank you heaps for a pleasurable experience.

                  We had a tall table out on the deck. The6 were a bit busy, as there was a wedding in. We couldn’t fault the attention and service we received from Sebastian. He did a great job looking after us patrons out on the deck.
