Took my wife for a Mother’s Day dinner last night and we both had our minds blown. It’s like eating at one of those places where you question yourself as to whether you’ve ever eaten real food before this point. We can’t say enough great things about Black Sheep and can’t wait to return!

The food was excellent. Delicious and flavorful! Our favorite was the pear and apple salad. The pork jowl was excellent and the duck confit was delicious.

THIS hidden neighborhood gem. Starting with service by the lovely Jayna. We enjoyed fred beef crisps (Thai chili tajin dust, chili lime sauce), Salmon Skin Tacos (two salmon skin tacos filled w/salmon tartare tobiko, smoked anaheim peppers, micro cilantro), Oxtail Empanadas (pickled shallots, lotus root salsa, coriander chimichurri), Vegan Vietnamese Sauteéd glass noodles (spicy gochujang sauce, baby bok choy, oyster mushrooms, roasted heirloom carrots), Flat Iron Steak (potato au gratin, pickled shallot, red endive & watercress salad, shaken beef au poivre sauce) and finished it with Madeleines with pistachio and strawberry compote sauce. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. The Duck It cocktail was absolutely an amazing refreshing surprise with Wild Turkey Rye.

The food was Next Level! Highly recommend Salmon Skin Tacos, Beef Crisps, and Duck Confit. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The service was excellent!

Best meal we had on our recent Las Vegas vacation. Excellent drinks! Both the entrees and appetizers were fresh and innovative. Really good. Service was excellent.

Not an extensive menu, but it was still hard to decide what to order because everything sounded interesting and delicious. Since I was on my own, I couldn't order one of everything, but I was very happy with the salmon skin tacos and the pork jowl entrée. And the madeleines for dessert were the cherry on top. Brie was an amazing bartender and accompanied me along my journey. I can't wait to return and share this gem with more friends and family.

Try the appetizer they are fantastic.We have been going here for three years and never had bad food.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about everything they serve.

The food is amazing. We ordered salmon skin taco, oxtail empanadas, calamari and fried whole rainbow trout. All of them are delicious.

Food was excellent! The calamari appetizer was exquisite and so were the short ribs. Service, otoh, was very mediocre. The waiter was bordering on sexist - my wife ordered an old fashioned and the waiter told her it’s “very spirit forward, is that ok?”. Never heard that asked by any server ever. When we asked for small side bowls, he first said they don’t have any, but later came back and rather rudely said they don’t ever give these out. Very disappointed by the passive aggressive service

Food was some of the best I have experienced. Felt a bit rushed by wait staff who reminded us that kitchen was busy and we needed to order! Had wanted to enjoy each course with a bit of a breather. Would do again! However, would like to enjoy a more paced meal with time to enjoy in between each service.

I used to love the spot, but it has gone terribly downhill. There menu has completely changed yet they haven’t updated their website or any of their online menus. Everything I wanted to order was no longer available. The menu is very small and limited. The food was not good, I felt like the chef was trying to be overly creative, but it wasn’t epic failure. I ordered a few things on the menu and did not like any of them. I will not be going back.

Our second visit to black sheep and we loved it The food was outstanding I had the duck which was a special and delicious cook perfectly sitting ever so beautifully on yellow curry couscous yummy

Absolutely hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Only the 2 of us dined, beginning with 4 appetizers ( as was hard to choose) 2 amazing entrees , and finished with a taste of all desserts on the menu. Every bite an amazing and delectable treat ! Highly recommend this gem of a find !

I was there with 5 friends. We were all from different states and hadn't seen each other for a few years. We all loved the food and ambience. Brianne/a was an excellent server and very fun to have for our group. Some of us are even talking about returning.

We live in Louisville, KY and don't get to Vegas often but his was our second time visiting The Black Sheep. The first time we came we did not know what to expect but having watched her on Top Chef we trusted that Jamie's culinary vision was right up our alley. She did not disappoint. Our second time was a stellar experience as well. The staff are so nice and welcoming. Take their advice if you're having a hard time making a decision. You will not be steered wrong. The food satisfies the soul and portions are generous. Their specialty cocktails are fantastic too. I regret that I did not have room for dessert. I may skip lunch next time to make sure I have room for more.

Hello Dear Reader, Our experience at Black Sheep was wonderful from start to finish. Joel took care of us, and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. Plus he has the best hair in the service industry! As a former service worker, I loved that each of the servers touched our table and checked in with us. Definitely a team atmosphere. Chef Jamie's food is exquisite. The best menu items are the Calamari (which is not your normal Calamari) and the Trout...and the short-ribs...I can't make a choice. Thank you, Black Sheep!

Everything excellent, from food to service.Too bad that with the kitchen closing at 10.00 some workers while we was eating our dessert still, were already cleaning the room and closing shutters and doors.After everything close to perfection, with this act we felt kinda of pressured to leave the restaurant.

The service and the food were amazing. I highly recommend the empanadas and the salmon skin tacos to start. All main dishes are incredible and portions are generous. Their Rioja red wine was a great pairing for our meals.
