First time back in a while. Outstanding service and food. Staff is very very good. My wife and I boated over from Clearwater Beach on a very hot day. Walked in and they fanned me to cool off. Menue is outstanding and has a VG dish as well.

Fantastic as always! The service is top notch. The filet is one of the best in the Tampa Bay Area! Dining at The Black Pearl is always a treat!

The service was amazing, as our waiter knew everything on the menu by heart and answered any questions we threw at him. Horduerves were great, starters were great, but the entrees were just good. The Chilean sea bass was excellent, the bolognese dish was very good but not amazing, and finally, the duck was a tad overcooked. The deserts were exceptional, so overall, I would say the food was excellent. The restaurant only has 11 tables, which leads to a couple of things 1) we thought the pricing was extremely high for the food and wine. 2) definitely not in agreement with a 20% gratuity automatically added to the tab (we normally give 20%+ but don’t like it being automatic). What if the service was substandard? That left a bad taste in all our mouths….Overall, a very fine dining experience but pricey!

Our anniversary dinner was perfect. First class service, food, drink, and ambiance. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

First, let me say the service was exceptional. Very attentive and they definitely work for the 20% service charge they add to your check. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. We had high hopes for the food and sad to say it wasn’t what we expected. For the price point we certainly expected more. While the presentations were unique, the flavors and temperature of the entrees were lacking. We understand that the menu does change so maybe others will have a better experience.

Spectacular as always! Extraordinary service and food that will satisfy the most discerning of tastes. The extra 20% service charge with the explanation that it goes to health benefits for their staff is a bit offensive and misleading To anyone who has run a business… taking care of your staff and their benefits is a cost of doing business… YOUR COST. Their role is to serve and they should be paid for that (by you) … if their service is good… we tip accordingly If you feel that you dont have enough margin on your product to pay for your employee’s benefits… raise your prices. I am pretty sure it wont impact people coming… because of how amazing everything else is! Furthermore it will be less offensive than you asking your customers to pay for your employees benefits.

Sean was fantastic! The food was outstanding, all staff was accommodating. I feel that Sean made us feel like we were the only people dining. The experience was very personal. I appreciate the time Sean put into us having a great experience.

Another outstanding dining experience !! My wife and I brought our office consultant along with her son from Boston and needless to say the feedback on the food., service and ambience was nothing short of spectacular.
