Although there is choice enough for most people, you have to be prepared to wait a while to be served at the table. We waited a while before anyone even checked if we’d like a drink, then another long wait for the food. There are staff, but they don’t seem to organise themselves very well.

Service was excellent, lovely friendly helpful staff. My Asian duck salad sounded appetising from the menu, but was disappointingly bland in taste. My husband enjoyed his dish of braised beef.

You don’t get much food on your plate. I ordered the shepards / cottage pie and for a meal priced over £20 I expected more? I left the restaurant still hungry. For the reason above I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the bistro, but at the same time I wouldn’t bad mouth it either.

Menu was fantastic, the waitress made my request to the chef to change an element of my dish with no issue’s. The food was quick to come and such good value for money.

Service was sketchy. Long wait after given dessert menu to coming back for order. No offer of drinks menu when we sat down, and no checking later if we wanted more. Chicken was too tough to eat and waitress ignored the comment. My food was good, and wine lovely.

The staff were super friendly. My husband and I ordered a jumbo fish and chips. Mine was what I would describe as more of a gold fish than a jumbo fish. You always expect to pay more in and airport hotel but at least expect to get what is advertised. It’s freezing in the restaurant due to the location being next to the doors so wear a jumper. Again staff were fab.

The food was nice, but portions are quite small. Not a place to eat if you're looking for a quick meal - it took over 30 min for my first course to arrive, although this may have been a combination of busyness and understaffing. The staff were generally polite and helpful, just a bit overstretched.
