The Bistro at The Blufftop at Rocheport, located on a blufftop overlooking the Missouri River, is the perfect place to turn your outing into an occasion. Enjoy classic comfort food and spectacular views of Mother Nature’s finest work, no matter the season.

Our restaurant space area offers a casual environment and a delicious menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our Chefs prepare a variety of house-made products including breads, smoked meats, and other seasonal items. Join us for your next meal; make a reservation now!

We do ask that parties larger than six not separate checks, please. 20% gratuity is applied to parties of six or more. Bakery made desserts can be brought in for celebrations such as birthdays, but no homemade desserts are allowed and there is a $10 fee.

This semi-sweet, Missouri grown white wine is crisp and fragrant with a burst of honeyed, floral, and tropical character including guava, pineapple, lilac, and apple. Affectionately called “VT” on The Blufftop, this beloved release is always highly anticipated and sought after.
2022 Vivant
This white wine is bright and zesty, with refreshing acidity. The green apple notes continue to shine alongside a touch of grapefruit that adds a refreshing tang. Aged in both oak and steel, these components marry together to create a wine that is crisp with a balanced and harmonious profile.
2021 Petite Sirah
This is full-bodied with a rich, velvety texture, and outstanding tannins. On the nose, it offers blackberry, black cherry, and blueberry, with a hint of star anise and vanilla from the oak barrel aging. It boasts a bold and concentrated flavor of black fruit, plum, and dark chocolate. The finish is persistent, leaving a daring impression of this wine’s tannic structure.
2022 Noiret
Our Noiret has a smooth texture that is mildly tannic. The espresso and leather notes spring forth, with a smoky undertone that lingers throughout the palate. The fruitiness detected on the nose carries over to the palate, with flavors of black fruit balancing out the more savory notes.

Dry Wine

Chardonel
This full-bodied, dry white wine is estate bottled and showcases nuanced oak aging with a lovely bouquet of pears, apples, and toasted almonds and is balanced by acidity, buttered toast, and just a hint of caramel on the palate.
Solay
Blended with the best Missouri grown white varieties, this crisp, dry white wine expresses beautiful tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Honey, green apple, and lemon tart complement the bright acidity.
Jeunette Rouge
This dry, medium-bodied table wine is diversely appealing and highlights Missouri’s Chambourcin grape with bright notes of cherry, blackberry, and plum with balanced acidity and a soft finish.
Norton
This Medium-bodied, dry red showcases the unique characteristics of Norton, the state grape of Missouri. A bouquet of violet, dark fruit, and earth tones highlight bright acid, rich fruit, and warming spices with a lingering, slightly tannic finish.

LBV Brut Rosé
Missouri grown St. Vincent grapes guide this dry méthode traditionnelle sparkling rosé wine with distinctive aromas of lemongrass, red fruit, apple, and toast. Crisp, vivid bubbles lead to a refreshing apple and red berry finish.

Sweet Wine

Moscato
Intense and lively aromas of pineapple, white peach and mandarin orange glide into refreshing flavors of melon, lemon peel, and candied ginger, finishing with a silky touch of honey.

Rocheport Reserve Dessert Wine

2020 Viognier Reserve

Dry Red Blend

The wait staff was prompt and courteous. The food was absolutely fantastic. The view over the river - fabulous.

well, this is a very nice restaurant, but I understand this is the last weekend that they’re going to be taking individual diners. I hope I’m wrong but it is published that after 20 May the facility will be used as a venue only.

It was a slow Friday night, considering the beautiful venue. The service was very unhelpful. The prime rib was almost unrecognizable. The fish dish was outstanding.

We got married at the bistro 3 years ago. Went back out for brunch to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend and were just as pleased with our experience.

I would not recommend this place. The food was expensive my biscuit was dry and hard like it had been around for a week, took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee and the only refill I got I had to beg for. If you don’t get a table by a window you can’t see anything. We were very disappointed
