The server was very good, efficient. The dome was okay, but there were stains on the floor and our table was very wobbly, hard to sit at with the huge block of wood for a table leg. Not the romantic ambiance I hoped for our anniversary dinner. Appetizer was fish fritters, tasty. My partner had the burger, it was good. I had the lobster which was very small and came with a vegetable, nothing else and was $42. It was overcooked. Also because the table was wobbly, the liquid on the board it was served on was running off onto the table, and almost my lap! Dessert was an apple tart, I think it was day old or had been frozen? And served with cherry ice cream??? Odd choice I thought. Ate it anyway because I was still hungry after the tiny lobster serving, that came without a seafood fork. We had breakfast there in the morning and sat in the bar area, food was much better and the service was still excellent.

I typically don't like to leave negative reviews, but this place has left me no choice. There is no way that they are truly #1 on TripAdvisor. That rating is astonishing and must be padded. Everything during our evening was mediocre at best. I should have know by the $100 cancellation guarantee they require upon booking. The gentleman who served us was lovely in nature, but from a service perspective was really lacking. No cutlery, no offer to refill both our drinks (just one, and when I asked), brought the wrong appetizer, had to ask for a steak knife, no ice in the drinks, the list goes on. In addition, the food was not good at all. My husbands rice wasn't fully cooked. The salmon was just ok. My steak was awful and came that brown/grey colour like my mother used to cook - No dear, no flavour. The fries were by far the best part of the meal and the garlic aoili was wonderful. We dressed up to go based on reviews we had seen, and it wasn't necessary whatsoever. Total cost for our meal was $165 and honestly if we could do it over we would absolutely go somewhere else, eat at half the cost, and have a way better time. The best part about the entire experience is the building. The dining room is gorgeous and the dome is quite unique. But that is where the positivity ends. Very out of the way but a nice drive. Way better options way closer to town and the village. My apologies to the people who work so hard for this place. Would absolutely not recommend.

Sharp piece of plastic found in food. At first, chef implied that it wasn’t his fault. Eventually waived the cost of the dish in question but it soured our taste on the meal. Will not be returning.

Attractive setting, friendly service, limited but appealing menu. Fish dishes were all excellent as were the various starters. You can sit outside in a heated “dome” if so inclined — we found the main dining room more comfortable.

Excellente cuisine, délicieuse et creative. Service attentionné et efficace. Belle décoration chaleureuse et contemporaine, même si personnellement j aurai apprécié un éclairage plus doux. Bravo à l équipe et merci

The egg was perfectly done and the foam and mushrooms made this dish absolutely beautiful. The fish with wonderfully crispy skin and the lamb shank was extraordinarily flavourful. Thank you for the wonderful evening.
