Inspired by mid-century American supper clubs, The Betty pays tribute to the continental menus of yesteryear. But while the dishes may sound comfortingly familiar, Chef Thomas’s approach is decidedly 21st century. was good. pleasant place for a thursday evening. food was good not elaborate but solid and well prepared. cocktail selection was very top shelf. the rest was upper third. i’d do it again sometime perhaps

We love the decor and ambiance of this restaurant, however the food is lacking. We had the daily special roasted prime rib, the meat and au jus were both cold and the au jus had no flavor. We will return and try something different and hopefully have a better experience.

We had dinner at the bar because the restaurant was pretty much deserted so I don’t feel like we got the full experience. But the bar service was really great as were the food and drinks. The rooftop was good as well but also quiet.

Ambience, food and music were top tier. Dee, our server, was excellent. However, if one has a reservation, they should not have to wait 20-25 minutes to be seated. The excuse given was that they had a lot of walk ins. I’m sorry, but a reservation should be honored over walk ins. It’s disappointing to be spending $200-$300 dollars on dinner, and have to wait a long period to be seated. I would expect this level of service at a food truck, not an establishment like this. I really like this place, and have been several times. I hope they get their act together on reservations.

Probably the worst dining experience I have ever had in 30 years. We were there for over 90 minutes and never received an entrée. Spoke to five different people. All of them said they would do something about our food, and not one of them did. The waiter started avoiding our table and not meeting my eye. To be fair, after an hour, the sommelier did offer and bring us a second glass of wine. Finally, the manager came, told us that he had been upstairs doing something – not sure how that was relevant to us – and I simply said, please bring us the check. After five minutes, even the check had not appeared, so we just walked out. Too bad, looked like a fun place. The live music band was excellent .

Fabulous location with Jazz on Thursdays. The Sommelier Bill could sell ice to Inuit. Dee was amazing. Typical Atlanta crowd for noise.

The Betty is nice the service was great but the food is mediocre at best ! The Burrata was very good but that’s the only think that was delicious! Steak was just ok / fries nothing special ;( Very pricy for what it was .

Wonderful evening at The Betty. Awesome personalities as soon as I walked through the entrance. I didn’t valet, but parked directly across the street for $4.00 vs paying $18.00 ( which I thought was steep). It was packed, but I was quickly seated. I had a few light items the shrimp scampi and a cheesecake for something yummy. My waitress/waiter was nice. They didn’t have a signature mocktail but that’s okay. Music was live and fun. Great for date night, small group dinners & solo ventures. I would definitely return to this location.

Went to the jazz dinner with friends last night and it left a lot to be desired. I don't know if our waitress was new, but she messed up pretty much all courses of our order. I got the wrong wine, my friends got the wrong steaks. They brought out what was supposed to be their NY strip, and it was more of a skirt steak than strip. The temperature was not correct, one friend couldn't eat her food at all. They should just take steak off the menu all together, they do not prepare it well. We got a bottle of wine, waitress didn't know what a Cabernet was and thus couldn't inform us of the bottle price, no true bottle service (we had to pour our own glasses), etc. It was just a miss on all ends. Definitely won't be returning.

My wife and I had high hopes for our Valentine’s Day dinner at The Betty in Atlanta, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were disappointed to learn that the evening’s menu was fixed and not customizable, something we had not been informed about beforehand. While we understand that special occasions like Valentine’s Day often come with set menus, we believe it’s crucial for restaurants to communicate this to patrons beforehand. The lack of transparency about the fixed menu left us feeling frustrated and ultimately led us to leave the restaurant. Aside from the miscommunication about the menu, we found the ambiance and service to be pleasant. The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the disappointment of not being able to choose our dishes overshadowed these positive aspects of our dining experience. In the future, we hope that The Betty and other establishments take proactive measures to inform guests about special event menus to avoid similar situations. Transparency and communication are key in ensuring a satisfying dining experience for patrons, especially on occasions as significant as Valentine’s Day.

Wanted this to be great. It started off horrible but ended very good overall. Parking was a disaster. To save money because of low reservations they had closed the front car drop off and were sending people back to the valet. As a handicapped patron, this was almost a show stopper. If I hadn’t been meeting someone, I would have turned around and left. The Betty is also charging for parking. With validation you still pay $10 plus tip. This seems like nickel and dime strategy when you are paying $150 pp for dinner. And is particularly annoying when you are diverted to an inconvenient option. Service was pretty casual for a “supper club”. Server was very very knowledgeable about the menu but dressed more like a patron than a server. We might have had a manager serving because they had staffed lightly. There were only six tables our night. My experience is that full time servers are better at serving than fill in servers. If the dining room had been half full or more it would have been really noisy and difficult to talk — tile floor, hard surfaces, and tight tables. There are a few quiet tables in the bar and sunroom. I had trouble finding something on the menu that excited me. Our very knowledgeable server steered me to the pork chop. It was huge and outstanding. At $34, it has to be one of the best values in all of Buckhead. The Brussel sprout side was also outstanding. Other dishes we ordered were good. My house invented cocktail was really good. Will go back. Love these west midtown vibe restaurants coming to Buckhead. Might call day of to confirm parking is open that night and cancel if not. Parking is an easy fix if mgmt decides they want to. Same with server appearance. If they decide not to fix them, that sends me a strong message to me about the desire to keep my business.

What a lovely restaurant. Bright smiles all around as we were greeted. The bar and restaurant are sleek and dark. The bottles sparkle. Would the food live up? Our server was super knowlegeable and helpful with the menu. The four of us had a good cross section of the menue and everything was terrific. The potato side dish was ridiculously rich. In a good way. We enjoyed everything about The Betty and plan to return.

The food is great here, and the servers are nice and attentive. Decor is attractive and noise level is fine. There was a nice jazz trio playing. But our food took forever. The kitchen just wasn’t sufficiently staffed for New Year’s Eve. Our server worked hard to make amends, but it was almost four hours from start to finish and we ushered in the new year in the car driving home. Because of the food, server, and vibe, I’d go back again, but on a low-key night.

We started with Parker House rolls and a wedge salad. The dressing is a little different on the wedge, I liked it but my wife didn’t. We had the halibut and pork chop, both recommended by our server. Both were very good, with the pork chop being amazing. Very good food and service.

Our overall experience was fantastic - food, ambience, service, all of it. I enjoyed that the background music was background - great music, but it did not interfere with our ability to have a conversation, which was important, as we were there for a business dinner. I definitely look forward to going back - whether for another business dinner or simply a social occasion.

Good. That sums up the experience. I would go back. But it’s not a destination. If they bring the food up a notch or so it would be a place to make an effort to get to. Service, ambiance, location are all great.

Outstanding food and service, excellent cocktail and wine list. I’m gluten free and had no problems with cross contamination. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Atlanta.
