Unfortunately the filet was overcooked- ordered medium and received almost well done. Server didn’t check back soon enough for me to send back. Steak was good but I think this restaurant strives to be better. This was our 4th time dinning there over the years and it’s probably just not a repeatable fine dining option for us.

I had the 8 oz filet with twice baked potato and asparagus. Can't forget the bourbon cake for dessert. What an excellent meal.

Honestly the first disappointing experience here. I had to send my steak back for being overdone. I get medium rare and it was pretty much well done. It was also extremely salty. I’m all about a crust but I must have drank a gallon of water. My dad’s bourbon toffee cake had a date pit they bit down on.

Our waiter was very knowledgeable & friendly. Just not sure I would pay 80.oo again for a steak…& that was ONLY FOR THE STEAK. My salad & sides were all an extra fee. The food was very delicious but being on a tight budget this won’t happen again any time soon. Also, I ordered the Bourbon Cake to go & was very disappointed with it for the fact that the whole bottom of it was very mushy/soft…couldn’t eat it😔

It is outstanding when the side dishes equal the quality and preparation of the entrée. Our steaks were fabulous and service was outstanding.

What a WONDERFUl experience. As first-time visitors, we were in awe. From beginning to end a very, very great experience! The food was outstanding. Our waiter Marcus went above and beyond to make our dining experience very special. We will be returning very soon!

They took the stuffed chicken off the menu so we tried the other chicken dinner. Not as good as the stuffed but god nonetheless. You must try the bourbon cake

The service was second to none. When my steak was served slightly overcooked, the server immediately offered to replace it with one done perfectly and she did. As great as the food was, the service was even better. A great place to go for any special occasion.

The food portions and the taste of the food was good. IMO this is a place to celebrate special occasions and not a weekly or monthly place to visit due to the price of the food

My wife and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at Benchmark. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Service was top notch. Food was incredible. We both had the 16 oz. Prime ribeye and it was the best steak we have ever eaten. Bring a lot of money because it’s not cheap, but you’ll get what you pay for!

The service and drinks were perfect. For an upscale steakhouse I expected more, a lot more. This was probably the worst steak I’ve ever had anywhere. It was very difficult to cut and full of gristle. Since I ordered it the Chef’s Way with a piece of king crab meat along with Korean butter & black truffle bernaise sauce on top, it was difficult to tell where the fat ended and the actual beef began. I kept thinking it would improve but I eventually gave up and the leftover steak was packaged up for dinner tomorrow night. Perhaps the best is yet to come when I try again. My wife’s salmon was perfect which is a blessing since we were celebrating her birthday. This will definitely be one restaurant we won’t be returning to anytime soon which is a shame since it came very highly recommended from friends & family. Perhaps it was just an off night and a bad piece of meat but at that price, I expected better. The ambiance was not as expected as well as we were seated right next a trio of men dropping loud F-bombs every few minutes. Near the end of our meal they left and the lights were lowered so that helped but it was a little too late. The server took very good care of us and even gave us complimentary desserts to go. That was a nice treat.

Service was excellent. We had Heather as our waitress she was great very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great my husband's steak was cooked perfectly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was very good. I could have made it home though. A waitress who came up to clean our table made an out of pocket comment. The place could use some updating. Overall service was amazing.

Our server, Tiffany, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I had a very nice experience. The food is delicious, with high quality steaks and tasty sides. Benchmark is pleasant and enjoyable, well worth the price.

My wife and I finally got a chance to try it out for our "date night". The staff were all very friendly. Our waitress was fantastic and the food overall was very good. The appetizer (ciabatta bread with goat cheese) was probably our favorite dish of the evening. Sangria was not on the drink menu, but it was available (both red and white) and we had it mixed. My wife got the Ribeye steak, cooked medium. I tried a bite of it, it wasn't bad, but I prefer grilling my own. I got the stuffed chicken, which was amazing. She got a side of the cheese grits, and my dish came with them, and also included brussel sprouts. We ordered an extra side of Parmesan fries, which were recommended to us by a neighbor. The ambience was decent, but if you are looking for a quiet/lower energy evening you may want to look elsewhere. The restaurant has very high ceilings and is loud/lively. We were seated by the front door. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house, but keep in mind there is a lot of activity- but it's still very enjoyable.

We have nothing but praise for Benchmark..! The food was amazing, from the shrimp cocktail appetizer.., steaks and lobster entree’ (mashed potatoes amazing) bourbon soaked cake with ice cream was to to die for! ambiance was wonderful too. But by far the most amazing thing was the service (especially Heather) We felt like everyone was trying to make our our anniversary dinner special. From the Happy Anniversary card placed on our table before we arrived to the complimentary Champagne! It was a special night for us and everyone made sure that they knew it was special and did their best to make it feel special! Thank you all.., you have blessed us!

Held a staff meeting in the middle of the restaurant, and was very unprofessional as we were trying to eat. It was also an hour after they opened. The chef made a steak and the entire staff ate with their fingers, licked their fingers, and went right back to serve tables without washing their hands. The kitchen staff with dirty clothes and aprons walked all over the dining room. Overall, it was a bad experience. We will not be going back.

The food, ambience and service was way less than we anticipated for our first visit here and we cannot recommend this restaurant to others. J Alexander’s and Mancy’s Steakhouse are much better alternatives.

Can’t say enough good things. From drinks to app, soup, entree and dessert, there was not a bad thing to say, all phenomenal. And on top of it all our server was first-class. Super knowledgeable, friendly, timed everything out perfectly. We will be back!
