We were a party of six ladies. Everyone was very happy with the meal and the service which was excellent. We had 2 entrees & 4 main courses as well as 4 desserts all of which were very enjoyable. I had not been to the venue since the renovations and was very impressed with the chages.

Can highly recommend the Roast Pork and Grain (quinoa) Salad. Absolutely divine! The fish and chips are always superb!

We have been to this restaurant many times in the past but we were very disappointed in the meal we had. My husband ordered a medium to well steak and it came as a charred piece of very dry meat. The salads were very ordinary with only rocket leaves and very little dressing if any. Very unsatisfactory. We were told there is a new chef and they need to know about these bad reviews as we do like dining there because of the venue.

This is a lovely restaurant, well located to Hobart and / or Kingston and surrounds and has a lovely outlook over Blackmans Bay beach. Has very good parking available. Have previously been here for lunch and this time for breakfast / brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the visits. Service is very good with staff friendly and attentive Food is very good, fresh and tasty and a strong menu range available. Not the cheapest around but you get what you pay for Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend and look forward to going back

I had the meatballs, they were tasty but could have been a little hotter in temperature. My husband has the prawn linguine and loved it. The staff were lovely and engaging. It wasn’t too busy so the noise level was non existent. I would definitely dine here again 😊

We chose The Beach House to celebrate my Mum's 91st birthday and advised the restaurant of this at the time of booking in the "special occasions" field via the online system. Unfortunately there was no acknowledgement by staff on the night. A bit disappointing to be honest. Other than that the service and food was good. I'm glad we had an early sitting as the noise levels would make conversation with older diners challenging as the room filled up.

Disappointed with the food, staff not trained well with the menu or service. Poor pub still food, fish and vegetables over cooked, sticker left on lemon wedge. Sticky table, the list goes on. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

The perfect spot for a lazy Sunday Summer afternoon. Extremely friendly staff and the setting is ideal to watch the world go by as you listen to the sound of the waves nearby. The food is scrumptious, and the service is prompt and friendly.

We are somewhat regular here and as per usual the male host was rude and seems to have an air of arrogance about him. The rest of the staff were all very pleasant. Entrees were great and the mains were 50/ 50. My Scotch fillet with mushroom sauce was nothing short of spectacular! Honestly one of the best steak meals I have had. My wife ordered the Moroccan Chicken salad which sadly was tasteless and bland. Pleasant experience overall with great views. Could have done without the sour-puss face of the host however.

Everything was awesome!! Loved the Plant based options and ALL of the staff were so friendly and efficient. Our first time here and won’t be the last! The best Espresso Martinis we’ve ever had! Thanks Team :)

So disappointed with the food. Four of us left most of their meal uneaten. The dessert was okay but expensive. Lovely location sad about the food.

Extremely tasty food. Quite expensive but the food was exquisite, especially the Beef Cheek which I had. Cheesy Garlic bread was one of the nicest we have had.

Had a great meal for my hubbies birthday. It's a nice atmosphere, but it did get a bit noisy, but was good all the same. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful to be back! Finally the menu is basically back to normal again, after the sudden change a couple of years ago, which enables the whole family to now enjoy the restaurant and back to having great edible food, plus the takeaway is available again which is a bonus! The crayfish pate and crispy pork belly is a must to try!

Food is absolutely amazing and the location and ambience is really nice. The staff are really friendly however the service provided by them is unfortunately quite poor. You continually had to get staff attention after waiting 20 mins for more drinks, the waitress cleared our table and failed to ask if we wanted desert or coffee. When placing the orders she never wrote anything down and forgot things like sauces, tall glasses etc. It's such a shame but the food is still really nice.

All of our dishes were full of flavour (even the tofu salad) and the cocktails were well made, not overly sweet. I’d be happy to return.

Was a bit disappointed that I had to wait to be seated despite having a booking, as the lady was busy chatting. The table was very sticky and needed a good clean. The service was average but friendly. The food was good.

Very enjoyable afternoon with excellent service and food and a beautiful outlook although it was very cold with the strong wind blowing in off the sea but much better when wait staff closed the front door. Thoroughly recommend it and look forward to returning there

Nice outlook, was a bit loud and hard to hear people on table talk. Market fish was lovely but very dry. Crayfish Pate was too sweet. Beef cheeks were fantastic though and so was the fish and chip dish.
