Post 390 met une touche contemporaine sur les plats inspirés des saisons qui reflètent la passion du chef de cuisine Deutmeyer pour les ingrédients frais et des saveurs inoubliables. Au premier étage se trouve la taverne: un menu et une atmosphère décontractée mais sophistiquée, avec un bar de 25 places et quelques banquettes, chauffé par une belle cheminée à quatre côtés. Un escalier massif en fer forgé relie l'énergie du premier étage à la salle à manger au deuxième étage. Ici, les invités peuvent avoir une expérience culinaire plus raffinée, et profiter de la grande cuisine ouverte, des présentoirs de vin, deux salles à manger privées, des places additionnelles près du foyer de la cheminée et des vues sur les monuments tels que Copley Place, Trinity Church et la Tour Hancock. The Banks was absolutely amazing! We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday and every single aspect was amazing. We began at the bar and had some great oysters and cocktails, and the lovely hostess brought up upstairs to our table. The server was one of the best I’ve ever had. I believe her name was Camila, and she was stellar. She took amazing care of us and my wife was over the moon with the tremendous food and excellent service. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazing food ! From the mussels to branzino , everything we tried was tasty . We didn’t try any meats. Theres is a variety of prices which was very nice

It was just okay. Wouldn’t return or recommend. Our bartender Chris was super friendly and made a wine reco after I didn’t like my first glass, but didn’t try to upsell the more expensive blend. The food was unfortunately average. We ordered two caviar spoons to treat ourselves but it was served on a napkin and tasted quite fishy.

It was a mixed bag of a 1st time experience - not sure I’d go back. Arrived at res time to be offered a table by the bathroom path & just in back of host stand. Asked for another, were advised it would be a short wait. Waited another 20 mins to see many 4 tops empty, told they were ‘larger parties’ - aren’t parties of 3 seated at 4 tops? Nothing about it made sense. Finally seated upstairs in ‘dining room’ & waited a god but before greeted by anyone. Good news, once our main waiter arrived he was really great. Food good. Mixed bag, but with a strong finish. Lots of big parties, private event rooms - expect it to be loud.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, and this restaurant could have been good. However, despite the waiter's kindness, there was a lack of coherence in the course of the meal. We had ordered wine from the start and asked for it several times, and it arrived 20 minutes after our starters. Then the main course arrived during the starter and the fish was overcooked. In short, not the restaurant I'd keep in my address book for Boston.

The lamb croquettes and branzino was outstanding! Fabulous service, food, and ambience. Great views of Copley square from upstairs. Outstanding evening and can’t wait to go back. Very enjoyable experience. Really enjoyed it.

Our party of four had a range of dishes starting with a tasty seafood tower (oysters, clams, lobster). My wife was less than thrilled with her crab cakes but the Branzino, Scallops, and other dishes were fine. Crowded and full of vitality, we dined upstairs and other tables seemed to enjoy their stay as well.

Our hostess was great. It was clear the restaurant was understaffed but she did the best she can. All the food was great. Wasn’t so hot on the cornbread but that’s just a personal preference.

Atmosphere is nice and service was good. Food was decent but no "wow factor". $45 for the scallops and there were only 3 of them and not that large either was a bit disappointing. Friend had the tuna and it was good.

The female bartender had a negative attitude and offered little help in finding Gluten Free options for me. The food was good but not exceptional. We’re from the south and expect more hospitality and better food and SMILES!

We went for brunch on a nice spring day. The menu had a lot of the brunch staples but we picked a few of the more interesting dishes. The fried oyster waffles with candied bacon was excellent, and the lobster hash was pretty good. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of their crudos and ceviche. The environment was bright but definitely a little more business casual than other restaurants.

This is the third time I’ve eaten there. It was Ok but not great. We were seated at a table with French fries & a menu on the floor (?!?!). Service was painfully slow —it was not busy they were obviously understaffed. The food was under seasoned and not very hot. I was there a month ago and everything was much better which made me return. But this last visit was mediocre at best.

We were visiting from Chicago and wanted fresh seafood. This place was it!!! The scallops, branzino, and lobster roll were amazing! Great service to match. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect when attending a play at the Lyric Stage, plus there is a 15% discount for Lyric attendees. The setting was nice, the service incredible, attentive without being overbearing. I ordered a burger which was cooked perfectly and was great. My only issue is the price of everything else. Of the eighteen entrees only 4 were less than $40 but 8 were over $60. There are a lot of options for anyone who likes sushi or oysters in the starter's menu. It did seem like that was very popular among the other guests.

First time at Bank Street Fish house. Really good fish, and non-fish, dishes. Three different oyster varieties to start, and a great Tuna Steak and Lobster roll followed. Desserts are also good with the Chocolate Pistachio tart being the standout. A little pricey, but the service was very good.

Many times the restaurant experience depends on the server. And this time, our first visit to the Banks Fish House was excellent thanks to Camila. She served as if she was hosting from her own kitchen. She was spot on with her suggestions as to what appetizers complemented our main entrées. And when she asked us how we liked our dishes, she genuinely wanted to know the answer, not just because of excellent server training. Our order? Caesar salad, Hiramasa Crudo, Dover Sole Meunière, Branzino, and… a hot fudge Sundae. Rarely do we order dessert, but when we do, it signals how satisfied we were with our meal.

Clam chowder & calamari very good. Lobster roll had lots of meat but shells in it too. Overpriced. Service pleasant but slow and it wasn’t t even that crowded.

Probably one of the worst lobster rolls I have ever had and to add insult to injury it was $48 dollars. Crab cake was decent but was more potato than crab making it kind of disappointing as well. In addition the drinks really feel watered down. We took a chance on this restaurant for a first visit and brought our visiting relatives and I was pretty embarrassed. Lastly, it might be that several large groups had events there last night but it was also insanely loud.

Ordered a Coke which was flat. Reported the server she reported they only serve small cans so they load the glass with ice and water… wow. When reported to manager he returned with a full glass of coke.

Service was horrible. Either they were understaffed or the waitress was incredibly overwhelmed. Took forever to get service, food took way too long, and the waitress didn’t stop by to ask how things were going. Had to flag down the wait staff, and a random hostess, to get service.

So good I are here twice! Started and ended my Boston visit with a meal at this delicious restaurant. I opted to sit at the upstairs (quieter) bar both times instead of a table. It gets very busy on Fri night. Great food and cocktails.

We spent five days in Boston, sampling clam chowder each day, and this was the BEST! Great service, lovely dining area upstairs. Highly recommend!
