Post 390 met une touche contemporaine sur les plats inspirés des saisons qui reflètent la passion du chef de cuisine Deutmeyer pour les ingrédients frais et des saveurs inoubliables. Au premier étage se trouve la taverne: un menu et une atmosphère décontractée mais sophistiquée, avec un bar de 25 places et quelques banquettes, chauffé par une belle cheminée à quatre côtés. Un escalier massif en fer forgé relie l'énergie du premier étage à la salle à manger au deuxième étage. Ici, les invités peuvent avoir une expérience culinaire plus raffinée, et profiter de la grande cuisine ouverte, des présentoirs de vin, deux salles à manger privées, des places additionnelles près du foyer de la cheminée et des vues sur les monuments tels que Copley Place, Trinity Church et la Tour Hancock.     Everything was amazing ! Exceptional quality, and stunning presentation. Our server Valentia was exceptional as well and so kind, thoughtful, and perfect service.

    Great meal at Banks Fish House. The seafood was spot on. Freshest oysters I've had in Boston in quite a while and that says quite a lot because raw bars are usually spot on in Boston. The fish house took it to a higher level. There was a bit of a delay and wait between the raw bar and entrees being provided. But honestly it was worth the wait. Def try the mushrooms.

    Service was super, super slow. I don't know if they were understaffed. As an example, we told our waitress we wanted to order drinks, she dropped off the drink menu and then didn't return for ~15 minutes.

    Our family of five dined here on Mother’s Day right after a show at the theater across the street. The dining main room and overall ambience is very nice. We were eventually given a great table near the windows overlooking Copley Square, but only after first declining a table in a dark back room and then made to wait 15 minutes—despite the fact that the restaurant was only at about 20% capacity at 5:45 PM. There was a definite condescending attitude among the host staff that was very off putting. One of my sons and I ordered lobster rolls. Serving size was generous but the roll was clearly stale, perhaps grilled the day before and reheated in the microwave. That’s totally unacceptable for a $48 entree and I would hate to think someone visiting Boston for the first time would have that as their first lobster roll experience. The wait staff was attentive and nice, however, additional training is needed since our main server reached across me to set down dinner plates and cleared plates from our table while two in our party were still eating their dinners. Again, not something that should happen at a restaurant that considers itself fine dining. This was our first time dining at Banks Fish House so I might give this place a second chance someday for lunch versus a big dinner out. Maybe they were just having a bad day.

    Good food and service. Eat in the dining room and not the bar unless you want to watch some sport.

    Excellent views, good service, delicious food, pleasant ambience. Service was a bit slow, likely due to the fact that it was brunch time on Mother's Day. Some items seemed very expensive and others were very reasonable for the amount and quantity provided. Overall, it was a posh experience that I would definitely enjoy experiencing again.

    One of the best brunches I have had in Boston. The fish was so fresh! We had the ceviche of the day, a lobster roll, and fried clams with waffles. All of the food was great. We brought our 1 year old and there was plenty of room for his stroller. We will definitely be going back.

    The food was delicious with large portions. Our server was also helpful. I had asked for a to go box for one of my sides and the dish was taken away by someone helping to clear the table and not brought back. When I explained this to the server, they brought me a new order. I would definitely return when in Boston.

    We were a table of 6 who have dined at the restaurant many times before, but last nite was not good! While the food was very good, we had significant problems with the service….. including waiting way too long to order and be served,things coming out incorrectly. While our server was lovely and tried, she seemed overwhelmed, and had way too many tables to wait on at the same time. While the General Manager eventually came over and made things right. It was not a good experience for us.

    The salad was boring. Just iceberg lettuce with a sprinkling of goat cheese- not what was promised. Tomatoes were fine. Our waiter was hard to find and did not bring the tea, nor milk for the coffee so we got the hostess to bring it. The coffee was cold. Everyone was charming, and the restaurant was lovely. My friend loved her lemon pancakes. I should have ordered fish.
