Amazing food! The best fish and chips in town. Nice Irish pub with live music. Great type of bar to sit and have a pint of Guinness with a friend or by yourself. My kind of place.

Saturday night Band Smackdaddy was fab blues. Loved it. And the food, while bar food, was bar food at its best. Huge portions and great quality. The service was superb!!

I’m a fan of this restaurant’s Culver City location, so I was excited to try this new one. My issues were: The steak in the sandwich was too fatty. After a couple of bites, the steak fell out of the bun as I could not chew it. I needed a knife to cut the meat around the fat and reinsert onto the roll. By comparison, I had a great steak sandwich earlier in the week at Urban Plates, their meat was lean with almost no fat, no issues eating and $7 less. Before arriving, I pre-checked the menu and noticed some of my favorite dishes were much more expensive, so I then compared Brentwood with Culver City, the prices were the same. Since my last visit (to CC) six months ago, the prices have jumped rapidly, that’s on top of big price hikes during the previous year when I would visit every other month. Still, like the CC location, they did a great job designing a fun room, the servers are friendly and attentive, so I would return. Art

Food overall was pretty disappointing. It's described and priced like high-end pub food, and there really wasn't anything high-end or impressive about it. It was pretty mediocre; edible but I wouldn't return. Servers were pleasant; bar was very loud when we got there but simmered down a bit over time.

Everything was great. We went on a Monday night and they had live music playing. We’re told it would be a mellow tone but it was very loud and hard to talk. Only complaint aside from that it was great.

We had such a great 1st time experience at this lovely establishment! Food - delicious!! Staff- had us laughing and we felt well attended to throughout dinner. Aka"Scarlett" thank you!! Happy The Auld Fella landed in Brentwood!!
