The dining room at Brentwood Bay Resort is beautiful. Part inside and part out with gorgeous views from all tables. There is a new chef on staff and the food was amazing especially the scallop pasta dish. So original! Highly recommended. One issue was the wait time to order but was happily rectified. All good.

It’s a beautiful spot. It was our first time at the Arbutus Room and looked forward to the experience with our friends. The service was disorganized and we felt a bit forgotten. Our server Oscar however was very pleasant. Despite a couple of requests with our food choice, it either wasn’t communicated to the kitchen or the kitchen staff didn’t read the request. It was not a full dining room. We would give it another try in the hopes there has been improvement and it is a great experience. Hope this helps.

Staff was polite and wonderful service. Food was delicious and the live music made for a perfect romantic anniversary dinner.

We didn't get served for quite awhile and it wasn't too busy but the staff that I saw was very young and perhaps were overwhelmed. Other guests described staff as frazzled. I was patient and didn't mind but could understand others frustration. Perhaps their understaffed or someone called in sick.

I make reservations for my boy friend birthday dinner! We travel all the way from Vancouver and I make some notes for my request and I also call to confirm can I have a nice table and they said will be arrenge a nice table beside the window then we can have a nice view! But so disappointed turns out a very small table just beside a table of four just like share table which is I really don’t like it! Also they need more training for the staff! I don’t think I will return again to this restaurant!
