The Allis is a public outlet located on the ground floor of Soho House Chicago set in a relaxed and welcoming social space for group dining, meetings and date nights. Serving modern European dishes drawing inspiration from British Brasseries along with classic and seasonal cocktails.

On Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm to 4.30pm, we offer an elevated afternoon tea experience. Enjoy tea and Champagne paired with pastries and savory bites. Afternoon Tea is only available to book through the experience.

The Allis Bar is named after the family that commissioned the restaurant's historic building in 1907 and also features bar and patio seating.

I enjoyed eating at The Allis-SoHo House. This place is decorated perfectly and fit the ambience I was looking for. The food was delicious and my sister and I had a great time. We were looking forward to dining here when searching up restaurants in Chicago as we are from New York.

Dined here last Monday with my mom who was visiting from out of town, we had a reservation at 9am. From the moment we walked in it felt as though we were inconveniencing the host. He stared at us blankly when we walked in and maybe said one word throughout our whole interaction, setting the tone for the rest of our visit. We were one of three tables, he sat us in a dark corner. Which was fine, but my mom wanted to move closer to the window. when I asked to move he stared back blankly again nodding his head without moving from the host stand. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe he is just an awkward person, but seeing that he was chatty with other guests made me think otherwise. While I understand that everyone can have off days and I also understand that working with people all day can be stressful, But this level of dismissiveness was disappointing and unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome.

Our second time at The Allis and we always had a wonderful time . The staff are very accommodating and friendly especially Daniel ; He waited on us for the two visits . Awesome service and we can’t wait to go back again . Beautiful ambience and the music is not too loud just perfect . I’m crazy for their Açaí berry smoothie , simply the best 💜

They went above and beyond to accommodate gluten allergies among some of my parties members at afternoon tea. They made Mother's Day really special!

Today, I had brunch at this place, and let me tell you, I am FURIOUS. First, the guy at the front desk glanced at me and then led me to my table with a sour face. I could have brushed off his bad attitude. But then, the female server came along with an even worse attitude, looking at me like I was beneath her. Not a single smile, not one! It was like I owed her money. WHERE WAS THE SERVICE? Why so RUDE? If she treats everyone like this, then the service at this place is absolute TRASH. But if she was only rude to me, then I can't help but suspect it's because I'm Asian. IS THIS PLACE RACIST? If this restaurant discriminates, then I need to warn all Asians to stay away from this place. Sure, the environment is nice, but the service is the WORST I've experienced in all the restaurants in Chicago. We still tipped 20% out of habit, but that does NOT mean I forgive such HORRIBLE ATTITUDES!

I booked the Tea Time and it was a cool experience to take my mom too for Mother’s day. Overall I would recommend for a special occasion but the food leaned more into the sweet than savory. Wish it had a few more sandwichs and a few less desserts but beautiful presentation!
