Chef Annie’s love for cooking started when she moved to the United States in 2012. She thinks about food all day; what it looks like, what it tastes like, and most of all, how it makes people feel connected and content. For Annie, cooking is a passion, a legacy, and a bridge. Cooking is a way for her to feel joy honoring her mother and her first home by serving the people in her new community. That is why Annie and her husband Ryan, a Rochester native, created ThaiPop. It is a labor of love to bring two homes and two worlds together in one place, to honor all who came before by serving all who gather today and tomorrow.

The food we some of the best Thai food we have had. The curry’s were flavorful, the Brussels spouts delicious as was the beef jerky appetizer. The Tongue Thaid cocktail was among the best spicy cocktails I have had.

Out of town guests visiting Mayo from Michigan. We felt rushed by our server. She took both entree and cocktail orders simultaneously. My entree arrived before my cocktail. Our son had the chicken wings appetizer. It was overly breaded and tough.. a bad piece of chicken. I ordered the Brussel sprout and noodle entree. The Brussel sprouts were more burned than roasted. I had a lingering charred taste in my mouth for the remainder of the night. We LOVE Thai food and believe that this establishment is highly over rated. However, the Annie’s Bread dessert was totally out of this world!!

I got the monsoon as a drink, yum yum wings for an app, and house curry with chicken for entree. Everything was delicious! Server had great recommendations. Food gets done super quick, I almost wish we could have sat for longer. Love the decor/atmosphere!

Thai Pop is one of our favorite places to eat delicious and quality food in Rochester. With a great atmosphere (so many beautiful plants!) and an extensive menu, it's a tropical paradise.

Came here for my birthday and everything was outstanding, great service absolutely amazing food and super cool vibe to the place in general. Could not ask for a better birthday dinner and desserts were next level! Whatever the French toast dessert was and the strawberry with I wanna say frozen shaved coconut milk? Idk what it was but I’ll be back to get it again!

Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp was excellent. Cocktails delicious. Service spot on. Ambience - nicest Thai I have been to. Everything at this restaurant is the best! .

I absolutely loved my visit to Thai Pop! I was in Rochester for work and was looking for a great spot to meet a friend for dinner. I read some great reviews but you exceeded my expectations!

I wasn't expecting great Thai food in Rochester, MN, but I was pleasantly surprised. Both the food and the service were outstanding, and I recommend it to both locals and visitors!

Absolutely Amazing!!! Loved everything we tried. Crispy fish sauce pork belly for a started. Hubs had the crying tiger and I went for Coconut veggies w/ shrimp. Delicious. The passion pop cocktail is so refreshing!! Can't wait to get back there again.

Wonderful atmosphere and service. Love the Tom Yum noodle soup. Others in our party like that they could decide on level of spice they could have in their entree.

The only thing better than the phenomenal food was the stellar service! Definitely recommend the papaya salad, Tom Ka and the Pompano. And don’t skip the drinks - some of the best!!

I had 1 of the soups recommended by the wait staff. It was a very generous portion and delicious! It was a busy ace on a weekday so best to make a reservation to make sure you get in.

this was our 3 rd time going to Thai Pop it is a must stop in Rochester. Great food great staff excellent atmosphere. we travel approximately 90 miles to eat there.
