Our first ever dine-in restaurant! Thaï Express is a new take on traditional Thaï Cuisine. Packed full of flavour, with unique twists and fusions based on your favourite Thai dishes! We offer a whole new extensive menu and dining experience, whilst sticking to our roots with our traditional open kitchen. With Halal, Gluten-free, Vegetarian and Vegan options there is a variety for everyone to enjoy. Customers can choose a protein and then add spice levels based on a preference from mild to very spicy. Loved the cosy little alcove for two. The service was friendly and quick. I had Thai green curry with prawns which was delicious. I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be back!

Flavor of food and presentation fine. Food was not hot. It was certainly ok food for a mall, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Tasty food, decent portions, good range on the menu. We sat in an upstairs booth which was nice and secluded but we did get rather ignored up there by the staff and had to go down to get their attention

We had a private booth up some steps which was an unexpected surprise. Ideal for a date night! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. We will definately be back.

Delicious food. Beer choice is limited. I expected more of a restaurant feel rather than a takeaway one. Staff friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.

My first time at Thai Kitchen and I’ll definitely return. The food was delicious and staff were warm and friendly. We were celebrating a birthday and staff were great fun. My daughter has been previously and it’s now her favourite restaurant and I can understand why

Amazing food. Great staff. The upstairs tables were a bit odd, not completely comfortable for shorter people. But the food was delicious and staff really friendly and helpful.

Food was okay, not the best thai food I have eaten but not the worst as well. Servers were really nice and food came in just a few minutes after ordering. Their tom kha soup has noodles in it which was weird and definitely one of my least favourite food items in there.

Although the food was delicious, the person serving us wasn’t great. Initially when my friend arrived she was told we didn’t have a booking, but still got a seat). I arrived and he came over to ask what we wanted, I asked if we could have a few more minutes and he rolled his eyes, sighed and walked off. We ordered. My food came first but my friend’s didn’t show up. When asked he asked again what she ordered and said it would be two minutes, he went back to the area where it was cooked, likely to place the order. It came as I was about half way finished. We asked for crackers (to tide my friend over). When we finished we were asked straight away if we wanted the bill. My friend said could we not order desserts? He rolled his eyes, sighed again and brought the menus back over. We decided not to get anything as felt rushed and thought we could get something else, elsewhere. When we told him we would just like the bill the same eye roll and sigh happened. At the end my friend asked if they needed the table (despite the restaurant not being busy). He said no, and that the restaurant is open until 10.30 - stay as long as we want (but felt this was sarcastic). Like I said, food was delish, but not impressed with the service at all. Felt really uncomfortable, so unlikely to be back. Which is a shame.

It's my 3rd time dining here and this place never disappoints. Highly reccomend the booths as they're amazing for privacy. The food is excellent with plenty of vegeterian and vegan options. The thairacha tofu bites are my absolute favorite.

We arrived for a date night. Seated fast & order was taken. Within 10mins our food arrived. It was brilliant & worth the money! The service was fast & polite. We will deffo be back!

The food was really flavoursome, but the Service was lacking. Our meals arrived separately, with no one coming near us for drinks refills. We were wanting to order dessert as well, but no one came near us so we paid the bill and left.

Don't go here. Just don't. There are many good Thai restaurants in Edinburgh. This is not one. The food we had was poor. Especially the soggy coating on the fish, and the cardboard texture crackers. A waste of £47.

We were sat in an individual booth up a set of stairs and it was lovely and private. Food was excellent, very tasty and served quickly. Staff were pleasant. Felt it was slightly overpriced for what it was.

The restaurant staff were attentive at start but as soon as we got our food we were forgotten about. We would have bought quite a few more drinks. We tried to get there attention several times and in the end just ended up getting up to get the bill to go somewhere else for more drinks.

The papaya salad was an insult to thai food and the stir fried basil was very oily,also it 3 asks to get the fried egg I had ordered at the start ..overall not impressed
