This is a special trip my golfing buddies and I take every year. We do enjoy the food, and it is usually prepared great. This year however I did notice a bit more salt in the meat. Also some of our servers spoke no English and that added to some minor confusion. My after dinner coffee was only luke warm. Other wise everything else was top notch.

We arrived (3 of us) with a reservation and had to wait 10+ minutes to be seated. They seemingly sat two groups of people, one who arrived before and another who arrived after us despite the first group not mentioning even having reservations, and yet we did and still had to wait. The worst part was that instead of being sat in the main dining room, we were sat in front of the bar. Considering we were the only table seated over there at the time I asked if this would he problematic for the meat carvers since we were out of the way compared to the rest of the diners, I was assured this was fine. We grabbed food from the salad bar and after about 10 minutes go by and the host asks us if we got any meats yet to which we replied no, finally a few minutes later they send the carvers our way. They had 3 different carvers all go to our table at once, which was nice, but then that was it. I was frustrated that we were sat in such an inconvenient location and after the first few minutes of waiting I decided to use the stop watch app on my phone so I knew it was real time and not "hungry" time I would be using to express my dismay. I kid you not. We waited a little over 27 minutes before any other carvers made its way towards our side of the restaurant. The bartender who apparently was our server had come over roughly 35 minutes after we had been seated to ask us if we had gotten any other meats yet and then asked us what we preferred & Temps. When the carvers finally came back, none of our preferences were brought, and most meats that were cooked to temp were more on the midwell side despite asking for med rare. When they finally brought filet over, it was also overcooked. The carver said he could grill some for us. When he finally came back, the meat was cooked closer to our preference but was so oversalted it was nearly inedible. All in all, the experience was not great. There was clearly a communication problem between the bartender, host, and carvers. I will like

I had a reservation for nine they set us in a corner and pretty much forgot about us. We were sitting from 6:25 to about 8:40 we had two people bring us shaved meat 1 time each one had steak the other had chicken. 8:18 we finally seen the same meat come back around we did get One guy our last 20 min came back several times because I was complaining he receive his tip in his hand we were complemented with mashed potatoes and sweet planting to share two times from 6:25 to 8:45 and we had to keep asking for that and what we ordered several times. our waiter gave us our bill before we were even done ordering and we spent almost $800 and we still tip her We were offered 2 different lambs, 1 kind of steak, bacon wrapped chicken and last garlic pork.

Texas de Brazil is a bit hard for people with mobility issues. The tables are close together making wheel chair accessibility hard. And in this location, the bathroom for the disabled was out of order due to a broken light. If you don't have mobility issues, the restaurant is fine. Our server CJ was excellent. A lovely man who went above and beyond to help my mother in her wheelchair.

My wife and I were expecting more that there was. The salad bar was fair, and the meat was mostly cut in small pieces brought to the table. There wasn't a meat presented that was at all tender. You could not understand most of the servers, not sure if they spoke English or were too quiet to hear. Similar Brazil type steak houses we have bee to in other places, served much more tender meat and a wider selection of meats. The facility was ok but we probably will not visit again.

The worst experience ever. Server michael was condescending and a complete failure. After dealing with manager Trevor, I knew the experience was going to suck. Food was not as good as it used to be. Everything overcooked. So worried about giving you one ounce of beef ribs and lamb, honestly 50dollars? Never again! Go to the corporate website and read the whole country reviews!!! 2.4 out of 5. They should close. Terrible salty as hell food and crappy service. Don't waste your money. Eat at a real steakhouse. You will get more for the same money!!!

The overall experience was good as expected. I know this is overpriced and I went there knowing about this. Also I've decided to ask for a good wine bottle as a special occasion it was, but this is what makes my review go to a 3 instead of a 4. The wine I choose from the list was not available and they offered me a different bottle same price and similar to the one I've picked with the indication I will have an extra Sangria with it for the inconvenience. I didn't realize the wine they offered was the one used for the Sangria, so I got not a similar wine in taste but a bad overpriced wine. Not sure if this is a general situation, but at least it gives me the idea they don't value their wine list nor the customer experience.

The servers and salad bar were great, the meats were salty and often times mooing. I had bacon wrapped filet and it was raw. Other cuts were nothing but fat/grizzle. Overall it was a first time, fun experience. I did not get my discount for signing up for the e-mail club, not sure how I should have asked for that.

Loved it but we came for my husbands birthday and found out at the end of dinner they ended the free birthday dessert. You have to sign up for something a head of time and bring in a coupon. Meh

Food was delicious and cooked to perfect medium rare. Staff was friendly and attentive. Because it’s such an open restaurant with hardwood floors, it can seem a bit on the noisy side. Ambiance is still “fancy casual” though.

Upon arriving, the staffing was very efficient and kind. We sat at the bar until the rest of our party of 10 arrived. We were sat pretty quickly. That was great. I had to ask the waitress to wipe the table because there was blood juice from meat in the table and chair. Obviously from the previous customers. We got our drink order but it was a while for it. Seemed to only be 1 bartender on a Saturday evening. Felt bad for her. We were sitting for a good 35-40 mins before we were told that we could go to the salad bar. The meat servers were awesome. Never had to wait for the next serving. That was nice. Overall my husband had a nice 50th birthday dinner.

Friendly and prompt service. You will not be let down . Make sure to starve yourself for at least two days prior to your dinner here. My top 3 in Rochester for going out to diner.

I will most definitely coming back to Texas de Brazil! The food was so incredible. The meats were cooked perfectly and were incredibly tender and juicy, while the crust was crispy and flavorful. The salad bar was next level, and had so many amazing options. Amazing choice for a date night, or a fancy celebration with friends and family.

Very tough steak. Some pieces were very well done, although we all requested medium rare. I had to ask four times to get a replacement for the very small bacon wrapped filet mignon that was tough, and grey through and through. I finally got a piece of “ filet mignon “ that was not bacon wrapped and so tough I could hardly cut it. All pieces had some flavor but had to be chewed very excessively and many had to be spit out. Way overpriced also. Server was pleasant and checked with us several times. The salad bar was also good. I have had excellent steaks elsewhere for much less . Black and Blue in Pittsford is excellent and less pricey. I will never return here.

These type steakhouses make every effort to give you everything but steak. It’s frustrating. When we did get steak, top sirloin was great. Flank steak too. I had to ask 3 times for Filet mignon , finally came. It as overcooked and dry. Dessert was good. But always trying to upsell you. We did have a nice time though. Service was good

Always have a great time at Texas de Brazil. Variety is never ending and you’ll always walk away full. Lots of options and they always pay attention to if you want more or not. However I did notice that no matter how many times I said no to the sausage guy he continue to ask me! Lol

Jeanna was a wonderful waitress, our water was always full and she checked in the perfect amount. We got to sit right in front of the kitchen and were able to watch them cook. The meal was delicious as always, and the serving staff was polite and accommodating. Would highly recommend this as you get unlimited food for a set price! With that being said, go hungry!

The food was delicious and plenty to eat even if you don’t eat meat . The only issue was when me and my wife sat at bar waiting to be seated and the bartender didn’t even look at us or even try serve us but served other customers that came after us .

Initial impressions were positive, but in spite of being seated literally in the middle of the dining area, it was if we were invisible. Had to wave down waiter to get water three times. Meat skewer servers walked past our table four times even though we had the “green” symbol up. Great idea as a restaurant but its poorly executed. Not worth the price.

Well worth the experience!! 2 of us are non- meat eaters and the salad bar was more than excellent! The others in our party raved about the meat! A special place to take visitors - and for sure - we will be back!!

Great place. Beautiful decorations and ambiance. Food was amazing, very fresh, lots of variety, and extremely delicious. Service was outstanding. They came around just enough times to see if there was anything we needed. I would say this was my top 3 experiences going somewhere to eat. Definitely will be going back again.

Happy Hour served delicious drinks. Lobster Bisque soup was very good. Disappointed with the meat and service. Meat was cooked medium to medium well. I asked for rare and waited an hour to be served three slices of rare meat. Asked for a second round of rare, tag was green, meat servers stopped coming to our table completely, and I never received more meat. At $53.99 per person, one would expect a much more enjoyable and a rare meaty experience.

Had an amazing dinner last night at TdB. The service was excellent - the food was delicious. The meats were rolling out consistently and quickly - and it was better than ever. Space was clean, comfortable, and packed! Trevor and his team are really doing an incredible job - can't wait to go back!

Pichana was absolutely RAW, 3 trips same RAW room temp. Salad bar was empty, hot bar was empty. Room is cold, like a wind tunnel every time the door opens. Waitress was great!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and always was very satisfied with the food and the service. Unfortunately tonight the food and the service did not meet my expectations. It may be due to the fact that we had late reservations 745 and they close at 9 PM. I found they had very few selections of meat the ones they did have were very well done . At one point we went for about 10 minutes or so Without any service to our table. The banana Foster’s cake was dry and stale
