This was our first time at Texan. It was an odd experience to say the least. Our server took at least 15 minutes to show up to our table, and then seemed to ask if he would be our server vs. informing us. He was definitely new, and I’ve been a server before, so gave him a lot of passes most others might not, definitely understand everyone has to be new at some point and learn. We got our drinks, mine was the Mexican Mojito, and candidly I didn’t notice the agave syrup in the ingredients, took one sip, it tasted like tequila, and stopped (I hate tequila). The server never came back to ask how our appetizer was or our drinks, so I let it sit there. The manager was doing rounds at some point and we told him. He reordered it for me without the agave and said our server would bring it when it was ready. It never came, which I was fine with, until ½ way through our meal, the server showed up with it, it clearly had been at the bar the entire time waiting for him to get it. But he dropped it, didn’t say a word, and walked away, and never asked how our food was. Texan is also VERY loud, we were sitting in the outside patio area, and joked that it was “loud out here in here” just being that close to the building, and glad we were sitting outside. There were some migrants selling candy, walking right up to tables, and a really drunk guy trying to use their tables to recover, the managers were very adept at handling those situations in a way that was compassionate and didn’t make a scene.

Food was fantastic nacho bites and quesadillas pizza were the best! Jack was managing and was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.

The restaurant looked nice and very photo worthy. The music was extremely loud and makes it hard to hear your conversation. The food was good but the service wasn't that great. Our waiter got our orders wrong and only came to the table twice the entire time. We also went for Cinco de mayo so you would think the music selection for the day would be dedicated to such but wasn't. Overall 7/10

We had a reservation for 14, the table was set for a tight 12. When we asked we were told the reservation was not a guarantee and that 2 people “could just stand”… ummm what?? We were a business group there for dinner, not a bunch of college kids!! 4 of the people in our party decided to go somewhere quieter which worked out because the table barely fit 10 of us comfortably. If you can’t accommodate large groups then don’t allow reservations for parties that night to begin with. I felt the representation on the website did not match the actual atmosphere. We ended up having a good time and the food was good, but we would have preferred to keep our party together.

Went for happy hour with a group and we had an absolute blast!! Food was delicious, prices were incredibly reasonable and the drinks were great! It’s a fun spot! Get the quesadilla pizzas.

Unbearably loud - almost so much so that we considered leaving upon being seated. Food is mediocre but drinks were decent. Service was timely given how busy it was.

The quesadilla pizza is great and certainly enough for two people. The tacos are pretty good too. Be warned, one of the salsas with the free chips is pretty hot.

Felt a lot like a factory trying to extract money from each patron. Service was OK, but focus was on making as much money from each person as possible.
