Beer, barbecue, and baseball are staples of the south. Terrapin Beer Company,

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and the Atlanta Braves deliver them all through a

exciting new taproom and microbrewery at The Battery Atlanta, adjacent to

Truist Park, the new home of the Braves.

The Terrapin Taproom is a restaurant operated by Delaware North, offering a rotating tap list that includes many of the signature beers that have elevated and defined Terrapin within the world of craft beer since 2002. Fans of the Athens-based brewery can enjoy classic Terrapin brews such as Hopsecutioner, Recreation Ale and Sound Czech Pils. The Taproom also features the world-famous
Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, known for their special blend of Texas heat and southern spice.

Not sure how to rate as we didn’t get to go! We made reservations a week ahead and received confirmation. The DAY before we got a phone call that you don’t accept reservations on game day. If you don’t accept them, then don’t take them!!

It the brisket. They offer fatty or regular. Craft beer on site for beer lovers. And at The Atlanta Battery so the vibe is cheery and festive. If you want BBQ, the Fox Bro's served up is Top 5 in Atlanta. Usually good smoke, but can sometimes come up short on intensity.

Serve Gox Bros BBQ, which is really good. It’s a big place, service was just Ok. Can’t imagine how crowded it gets on a Braves Gameday…

$17 Burgers and Sticky tables… The best part about this restaurant is sitting outside in the battery. Half the food was really good half tasted like nothing. This place best described would be a sporty Applebees with an extra price tag. Seriously the prices aren’t worth the food. An the beer wasn’t worthy enough to have there stands everywhere to purchase more. 3/5 for quickness but I wouldn’t go back unless no other reservations in the city and every fast food restaurant was closed because the prices are very high for nothing.

Great food. Good drinks. Would have like to had my bourbon in a glass instead of a plastic cup but it was more of a bar and barbecue atmosphere so it was understandable. The food was plentiful and great. Service was top notch

Friday night, Braves away... started our night here at the battery for some beer and BBQ. We had a table near the bar and serviced by bar staff who did a fantastic job, 5-stars. Ambiance was good, lots of TVs to watch the game, with plenty of beer and food options. We started with the half and half appetizer (pickle and jalapeños) where the breading was too thick and size of pickles and jalapeños cut was very thin and small. I'd pass on ordering this again, not worth taste or value. Then we ordered ribs, brisket, smoked wings, and some sides. Brisket was amazing, we chose thick cut and fatty from the point. Seasoning was perfect and our table would rate 9 stars out of 10 (two thumbs up for sure). The slab of ribs was average but tasted good (excellent rub), probably cooked much earlier and kept warm for evening service making them have some tug on the bite and very chewy. Wings average, more char (burn) than smoke flavor. All sides dishes, a bit disappointed... just bland, not tasty (salty collards, over mayo slaw, dry cornbread and jalapeño flavor lacking). But overall, food and beer together was perfect. Bar staff was great. We definitely recommend to visit, but perhaps late afternoon or early evening for best quality on BBQ food.
