My best friend and I love to meet here for breakfast. We love the food and service is superb. Chad knows how to make your dining experience great. Of course we will be back.

Had reservations for 9:45. We were sat a little early, and we sat there, and we sat there while everyone around us were being taken care of and we were ignored for about 10 min. We finally had someone, not our server, bring us waters. We had a question about the coffee and she said she was new and didn’t know them yet, that was fine and no big deal, we understood. Then our server came to the table about 5 min later and we asked her. She answered our question and we ordered lattes. They were good. Then we asked our server about some items we had seen on the menu listed on the website and she immediately said no we don’t have those available any longer. I asked if it was possible for the chef to make them since the ingredients to make them were available in all of the other options on the menu and she said no. Ok. We had based our reservations to eat there on the fact that my mom could order something off the menu that was apart of her new diet as she had just gotten out of the hospital and it’s been difficult to find things she can eat now. The menu changed by this time as it was now after 10 and the brunch menu was now available. Still no options for my mom that didn’t have bread or sugar or was fried.. so she ordered the eggs and sausage with potatoes. It was all very good. But she could not eat the potatoes as they had something on them and or they were fried. I ordered the tuna tataki and it came on a pile of guacamole. The guacamole was good but the tuna was not fresh and was tossed in some kind of mayonnaise concoction that was not good at all, almost as if they were trying to hide the fact that the fish was not fresh. Basically I ate guacamole for brunch since the menu had changed and the omelette I was going to order was NO LONGER AVAILABLE. All in all the place is beautiful but the server we had was abrasive and non accommodating at all. She didn’t even try to act like she could help. Basically wanted us to order and move along. I would not recommend.

Mother’s Day brunch was extremely limited for food items. Maybe 4-5 options and zero kid plates. Who had zero kids options on Mother’s Day brunch???! Service was very slow and the quality of food was disappointing. I would not spend the money for this place.

Went there for date night looking for some place new. Nice nice decor. Waiter was very polite knowledgeable food was excellent. Pricey but good. Sure we will be back

Excellent option for dinner. Food well-presented and tasted great. Service impeccable and we did not feel rushed at all. We met relatives at the restaurant and both couples had driven a long distance (1.5 to 2+ hrs) from opposite directions, so the staff was very accommodating by allowing us to keep our table for a lengthy 3 hours. The restaurant was not full, but it did still seem a tad noisy. The food is a bit pricy but worth every cent. This was our second visit and the first time was great as well.

Our e tire anniversary Dinner was perfect. From the time we drove up in the parking lot till the time we got back in our car. It's a beautiful hotel and restaurant. Everyone is so polite and friendly. From the appetizers to the complimentary desert (anniversary) everything was delicious and perfect. Prepared perfectly. Staff was amazing. I couldn't be more pleased. We will definitely be back.

A downtown Lakeland gem to discover! This 100 years old hotel facing a lake will take you back to what privilege must have felt back then. The renovation of the dining room is beautiful, the service better than any I have had in Orlando in a long time and the food was fresh generous and delicious. You don't want to miss this unexpected find in quiet Lakeland. This was a girlfriend lunch between Orlando and Tampa and can not wait to return with my family. Our server , Chad was still in training but you would have never known if he had not said so, friendly, funny, discreet and kind. Our cranberries tarragon chicken salads sandwiches were so good and big served on delicious toasted bread with french fries. The lunch portion were so generous we had no room for desserts but we splurge on one for my friend husband to take back and my expresso was a perfect finish for myself. I am spreading the word on this one. It has been a while since the greater Orlando dining scene impressed me .

Choice of brunch or lunch menu should be available on weekends. The Brunch menu by itself is too limited. Aside from that, it was a good experience.

My margarita was too sour. The bread was stale. The Caesar salad had too much cheese on it so we couldn’t finish it. The entree was delicious. The building and dining room is beautiful. Service was a little slow. We will try again another time.

The ambiance, service and food were lovely. I would definitely recommend. However, I had made a notation when booking that we were coming to celebrate a birthday. At no time was this mentioned by the staff, nor was anything specific to make our time there any different than just going out to dinner. Also, if you do not want to deal with road noise, as for a table farther away from the door to the street.

We went to Terrace Grill to celebrate my birthday. The service was slow and the food was extremely pricey for the portions served. My husband ordered the Wedge Salad which was totally covered with the fried onions, overwhelming the taste of the salad. My Hollingsworth salad had far too much dressing. I ordered the scallop entree and was shocked when it came out with 3 scallops (and they were not extra large diver scallops) on top of creamed corn. At $36 for this entree, $12 per scallop is too much to pay. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak which was very gristly for $48. I want this restaurant to survive as It's in a very historic hotel in my city but now I see why they were not busy.

Great service from my reservation and later date adjusting the time. Professional welcome from Kayla and exceptional service from Julia. From the wine, lunch cuisine and dessert, everything was a wonderful experience and I was pleased to be able to bring our office administrator and pastor as well, for his birthday. Look forward to my next visit.

Really enjoyed the seasonal strawberry bellini and the radish appetizer was divine. The dinner portion of scallops includes three large scallops and they would have been much better had they been properly seared. The Hollingsworth salad was drowning in dressing and was very sour. The most disturbing thing I witnessed was a female server using the handicapped stall in the ladies room and then returning to serve diners without washing her hands. We usually love the food and service at The Terrace Grille but this was a disappointment

Went for a second time during our 1 year anniversary, Ordered a mojito, and my significant other ordered a expresso martini (came out great) started with a charcuterie board as the appetizer great variation on the board, proceeded to order a dirty martini as a second drink was good and not overpowered by the brine, significant other then ordered the scallops and I ordered the spicy pasta (do not recall the dish name) both came out great all well cooked and finished it off with a Crème brûlée desert, great staff and great experience as-well.

Everything was completely enjoyable. I only dropped a star for food because the butter was ice cold. I know, small detail but I think most diners would notice and appreciate.

Great lunch! Food was very good. My sister said her Ruben sandwich was fabulous the best she ever had. Beautiful restaurant and service was perfect.

What a beautiful, historic hotel restaurant that made for an entirely underwhelming dining experience. The hostess and servers were robotically bored with their job and service is a huge factor in a wonderful dining experience. Going out for a Saturday night date in a nearly empty restaurant, we were seated with the elevator directly behind us and with that came all the noise of a hotel. The food was good, but little things were off for the price and ambiance. Overall, completely underwhelming and we won’t be back.

Went to dinner with friends here… the ambiance was nice, big windows, color scheme was pretty but the noise level was a little loud. Menu was not large, so if you are a picky eater, this may not be a good choice. Filet was great, but a bit pricey. Drinks were mediocre and expensive. Waitress was meh and seemed a bit agitated by our group. Not sure why when we ordered drinks, appetizers, food and dessert with our bill being more than $600! Won’t be back…

From time of arrival with a reservation to getting order taken was 40 minutes. Staff was really busy paid little to bare minimum attention to our table. Steak was ordered well done and it was provided burned on the outside and medium done inside. Complimentary bread while we waited would’ve been nice.

The Terrace Grill was a special experience for myself and my wife. The attention to detail in the presentations of everything was astonishing, from the decorum, the food and especially the staff. This was not just a dinner out, it was a memorable experience. The Terrace Grill takes fine dining to a high level without the stuffiness. We recommend getting an inside table, though next time we want to experience the terrace with its view of the lake.

Went yesterday for Valentines, our reservation was for 8:30 end up being at 9:15 because apparently they were just full. Purchased the lake view dinning room which included a rose and some chocolates which they never gave us. Service was way average, we requested a sparkling water at our arrival and it never came. My pasta was overcooked and dry , my husband’s food was cold. The place looks good but nothing else. I don’t know where all this good reviews come from because this restaurant and the food is way below average for the price. Never going back.
