Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.

We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.
Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date.
There will be a $20 per person charge for no shows or cancellations without 48-hour notice.

Generally Terra is great but our food felt both rushed and came out cold which was confusing. Our server was great.

The food was so delicious; there was a taste of the grill in every bite. The service was incredible, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, but the tasting menu is a good value and offers a sampling of a variety of items for one price. Dining here was a memorable experience and I can't wait to come back.

Nice food. Server was nice. Noticed some spider webs on right side of our table and some dirt as well. Best Tiramisu I have ever had.

Absolutely lovely venue with gorgeous decor and details. The service was good, no complaints at all but they left us alone for the most part. The food was a little disappointing – bland and unimaginative, felt like a missed opportunity to make this a real gem in the area.

Allow me to recount the ways that led to the worst meal I've had at Terra. on my 39th wedding anniversary, Given the prices, I anticipated a spectacular dining experience. However, the décor of fake floral hanging pots and being seated next to a breastfeeding family did not match my expectations of such a monumental celebration, prompting me to request a move to the outdoor area. Our meal began with bread and burrata cream; the bread was slightly warm but quickly turned cold, dry, and tasteless, leaving me puzzled about its intended flavor. We ordered broccoli rabe, and when I asked the waitress if it was supposed to be served hot, she seemed surprised and confirmed it should be. After requesting it to be heated, it took 10 minutes to be asked if I still wanted it. The pasta, oh my, the cavatelli were harder than rocks, and it appeared to be a night destined for cold dishes; even the meat was served in chunks. My pasta, the fungi, held some promise, but when they boasted about including Grana Padano as a selling point, it seemed less than half a tablespoon was used, which I consumed in a single bite as the pasta strands were stuck together. The dessert, which began with high hopes due to a clever combination of ingredients, was marred by a slug of gelatin. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she returned with a booklet listing gelatin as one of the ingredients, but that did not console me for the disappointing dessert. I could continue about the $6 macchiato, which, true to the night's theme, was served cold, without sugar or a spoon. As an Italian, I implore anyone dining at Terra to know that you are NOT eating authentic Italian food. In honor of my heritage and knowing what true Italian cuisine is, I find this experience utterly disheartening. The silver lining was the wine- 2001 Pian delle Vigne which we brought and it was superb.
