Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where the Terra culinary team cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.

I took my mom to Terra for a special and emotional anniversary. I knew Terra had to be the place because of its location and beautiful ambiance. It was also recently rated one of the most beautiful restaurants in Boston! Everyone was so attentive, kind, and responsive to our questions. Our waiter, Santos, was OUTSTANDING! He spent unrushed time with us to help us figure out which of the dishes on the menu would be just right for our luncheon. He was so courteous and patient. The recommendations of ordering the mafaldine special and the chicken was spot on. My mom and I split the meals, and were so full, that we didn't even have room for dessert! We'll have to return for the tiramisu another time. I want to thank all the waitstaff, and especially Santos, for making our visit a very special one.

I loved this place! My boyfriend and I were looking for Italian food and this was great. The food was delicious and good portion sizes, drinks are pretty. Last mention was our amazing server who was very attentive and kind!

Underwhelming experience. Our two pasta (the sausage and lobster ) dishes were just Meh … We were never asked if we enjoyed our meal or if we wanted dessert. We will not be returning and if we do, we will try the Los Angeles location…maybe a better experience?!…service and food?! We shall seee! Anywho …Yes for for pics and NO for Dinning experience!

The sirloin steak was overcooked. The squid ink pasta was too fishy. The food was simply not good and nowhere near worth the price

Our server was so friendly and excited about the food. Great energy. The food was excellent. I highly recommend any of the homemade pasta dishes. The burrata app has too much going on.

The only complaint I have is how dusty the restaurant was. The plants are all covered in thick dust as is the decor located on shelves above the tables. There was a large glass vase that was covered in dust. Some of the plants were dead or sick and needed watering. The food and service was perfect. I just didn’t enjoy the surroundings seeing how dusty every single plant was.

Server was great! All his suggestions were great. Food was ok… found portions to be small and for the prices could been bigger in size ie.. Meat for bolognese was very little! Wine was great

The dish was room temperature, and there was little to no sauce. Had it been cooked properly, it would not have clumped together after straining. If I didn't know what I ordered, I would have thought it was just plain tagliatelle with a few pieces of beef, which was also dry and stringy. A ragu it was not. It certainly isn't worth $31.00. Additionally, we had to ask, and wait for, ground black pepper, grated cheese and cream for 1 coffee. We were on a tight schedule, and I did not have the time to send it back or reorder.

Our table was ready about 20 minutes earlier than our reservation. We came to Boston for the marathon so having a table earlier was nice. The food and service was great.

Very cool place. A little noisy and crowded, but that’s what makes it cool. Food is really good and the service is great too. I wish there was more choices in the menu. I’ll be back again.

The food is so below par of what you would expect for prices and an establishment like this. I have been on 3 separate occasions and the food has been terrible every single time. The waitstaff are great, the drinks were very good, and the ambiance is outstanding, but the food just is not good at all.

Highly recommend. Brought guest from Miami for lunch and she loved the food and service. We had the beet salad(delicious dressing) and sausage for appetizers and pasta with cold fired beef and pork. Excellent!

Every dish we got was delicious!! Burrata with asparagus was AMAZING, both pasta dishes incredible. Even the simple green salad verde was so good! Highly recommend

Our dinner was very pleasant. Waitstaff were very attentive and made certain we could get to a show on time. Venue is noisy... but feels like a communal Italian dinner experience. Not a problem. The food was good... not exceptional, using other Italian restaurants in Boston for comparison. We did very much enjoy the beet salad with pistachio pesto dressing!

Our group of 8 was seated in the back corner and had a lovely and bright table. The food was all around excellent and the service was great. I love eating here because I know my guests will be well cared for, the food is always wonderful, and the ambience is energetic and cozy.

My server was great. Very attentive to my dairy allergy and made sure that everyone was made right and there were no issues. I went for lunch and ordered an espresso martini, sparkling water, bread and oil, broccolini, Pollo alla Griglia and ended the meal with a wonderful orange wine. Finding orange wine in a restaurant is relatively rare, so seeing it on the menu certainly made me happy. This place is probably amazing in the summer on the patio. I would recommend checking out with friends or solo. It was a great place to dine for a solo date.

I personally would not recommend Terra. Although their ambiance was good, the lobster pasta I ordered was the worst thing I ever ate in Boston considering that it was $50. The lobster I received tasted frozen or possibly canned since the meat flaked off and tasted old. The pasta was bland and had no seasoning or anything added to give it flavor. It tasted like pasta and water plus the ingredients added on top. I don’t like to leave bad reviews (in fact, I don’t think I’ve reviewed anything on OpenTable), but I had to give my opinion on Terra. I have a smaller food account on Instagram, and I will definitely be posting about Terra on it. I’m not sure what to think about the service because it felt like our server was implying that we weren’t ordering enough since we didn’t get anything to drink or get any dessert. I definitely did not want to get anything after tasting my atrociously bland, maybe even disgusting squid ink lobster pasta. Safe to say, I won’t be returning. In fact, no one should go to Terra.

Nice meal, very good service. Convenient parking garage underneath Prudential means you don’t need coats. Validated parking was $15 for about 3 hours. We sat at the counter with views of the kitchen. Chairs are a just tall enough to be a bit uncomfortable because your feet may not reach the bar on the chair. For food we started with sharing the burrata and asparagus appetizer, followed by their meat skewers dish, for two. For dessert we shared their donut and ice cream. We enjoyed everything with a bottle of Amarone Della Valpolicella by 3CRU.

My husband and I had a fantastic dining experience at Terra. We opted to share a salad; more than enough for two-beautiful fresh greens and seasoned perfectly. Our pasta dishes were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the red wine our sever suggested. We will be back soon!
