The food was very flavorful however every dish that came out was lukewarm (soup, edamame, sushi) I’m not sure if the place is just understaffed and the food is sitting there waiting to be picked up or if there is just miscommunication going on in the kitchen. If it were the correct temp it would be amazing! Minus the crème brûlée - I was not a fan of that. It almost tasted fishy? Also very loud in there but if you are into that vegas clubby feel then this is for you. Our server was very nice.

Outside of personal food taste the only thing I do want to mention is what I feel like was a lack of detail and care. I had made the reservation for my boyfriend’s 33rd birthday and upon arrival we were sat at a cocktail table by the bar. Honestly this affected the whole meal. It definitely is not the seating I would have put someone celebrating anything. Felt like the celebration was nothing but for me birthdays are huge.

The server was training someone so it was completely understandable that her attention was set on training. Besides that the food was great as always and the drink were great. Definitely a good choice for a date night.

TenTen is a wonderful place to grab Friday lunch. Excellent location, good interior, and at that time at least it's pretty quiet and a good atmosphere to converse with your party.

Food is very good. Sat at the bar and was treated like I was imposing on the staff. They were more interested in talking to each other and their friends at the bar than looking after me. Saving grace of the evening was the conversation I had with the guys from Baltimore that sat near me at the bar. Lots of great choices for dining out in Austin. This place needs to do better.

It was my husband's birthday and it took 45 minutes to get seated even though a reservation and I had to remind them that we had not been served. The were packed with Proms and large parties. However, both the manager and serve tried to mitigate my dissatisfaction with complimentary drinks and I will say they deserve an A for effort. Not every establishment would have gone to the effort.

We arrived at 5:00 and had several happy hour sushi specials that were excellent for the price. Parking is the only issue.

The appetizers and maki are some of the only items that we got that I felt were actually worth the price. My cocktail was 85% crushed ice, and the nigiri was mid considering the other sushi you can get in Austin and the price. Otherwise, a cute spot for a date.

Food and service were great! However, they placed us on this stupid bar top style seats (not at the bar itself) that make it so you have to sit next to whoever you’re with, not across from them. It’s an awful set up and makes having conversation hard. I think it also assumes anyone who’s in a group of 2 is on a date. If I had gotten there before my friend I would have had them move us.

Food is great, but we have had better. I wanted to love the Hamachi Carpaccio. The fish and truffle were really excellent, but the taste was more on the soy sauce and salty. Chicken Karaage may be the best here and exceptional. Sushi was Excellent, but on a bland side. Yuzu and raspberry Ice cream was quite on a weird side for me. More like a mousse than "Ice cream." Only 2 tables at lunch on Friday with about 6-7 workers in kitchen, but the food came out very slow, especially consider "lunch time." We wanted to like our server as well. Kind of Nice, pretty and sexy, but we hardly got her to our table. We tried to order main dish, but after we were done with all 3 appetizers. She never show up and we needed to as the buslady if we could order food with her. Again when we need the dessert menu, we were waiting and waiting until some server at the bar came help us.

The food was very good. I was a bit disappointed in that my friend’s birthday was not acknowledged when we ordered dessert despite knowing we were celebrating in my notes to the restaurant. This is the first time a restaurant has not made some overture. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

got seated and then we waited 10 minutes before our server got to us. it was not a busy night. there was just no organization. we waited 10 min with no water or anything. food was mid. I will not be back. edit: just wanted to add. you might reconsider naming your restaurant dim-dim because it was wayyyyy too dark as well.

Had a great meal at TenTen this weekend. Service was excellent and the food flavors were outstanding. Even discovered a Japanese barrel-aged gin I had not encountered before. Atmosphere was great. The sushi cuts could be bigger.

This was the best salmon I have ever had! Service was impeccable and it food was delicious. Portions are excellent; can't wait to try again!

As a vegetarian, I love that they have a plant based menu. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. The service was also fantastic!

Pretty underwhelming for the price. Our server was very nice, but that's about the best thing I have to say. The air con was blowing straight down on our table the whole night, the brought all our food at the same time vs coursing it out, and the food was good not great. Best things were probably the Brussels sprouts and the shishitos, which considering we also got sushi and short ribs isn't a great sign. Far better sushi places in the city for equal or less cost.

Completely rushed, everything was picked up the second we were done. Got asked for food and drinks within 1 minute of being seated. Whole dinner start to finish including paying lasted about 50 minutes.

We’ve been here many times. This time was a disappointment. Service was terrible. We didn’t get our drinks until after we finished our first round of sushi. The cocktails were inconsistent the second round was very different tasting from the first. They must have a new chef because the hamachi plate was drowned in sauce and covered in huge slices of truffle and the hamachi itself was very thinly sliced. The snow crab roll had bits of shell in it. The charred edamame was dripping a reduced teriyaki and impossible to eat. All around not the same great food and service we are used to getting. There’s much better sushi restaurants at this price point to go to instead.

Their happy hour is AMAZING! Not to mention the food was very top notch and presented really well. We both left stuffed for $100 which is hard to beat in Austin. Try this place out!!

We ate here on a Sunday night, holiday weekend. The restaurant was fairly empty at 7:30pm. We were in town for fun & business. I booked here based on Yelp reviews and we were very disappointed. The service was slow and staff was disinterested. The food was not good. We tried a number of items - crudo, edamame, sashimi, nigiri, a roll and a plate. None stood out and most were just bad. We eat a lot of sushi and this was pretty awful. I wish I could say something positive but I we wouldn’t recommend TenTen

Great experience, good drinks and the Spicy Tuna and BBQ tore roll were to die for. Pork Chop was a little small but very tasty. Great experience.
