Absolutely love Mr Tempo restaurants, this Tempo Cantina is no exception 🔥. Pork belly bites and birria tacos are our fave appetizers to share. The portions are great not too much not skimpy. The Paloma’s were on point and refreshing. The music was great i just don’t really like house or rave music when im eating other than that 10/10 . The place was crowded so reservations were the best way to get in quickly.

Loved this place years back, it’s gone down in food quality, costumer service is nonexistent from the males working there, they care more about their appearance than the impression they leave with their clientele. It’s a shame really, they had a good thing going and now is just like everywhere else.

The food was amazing. The server was awesome. He was very attentive and checked in often. The drinks were delicious. The only thing I wasn’t happy with, is that there was rice in the table I was seated at. It may have come off of the menu. We switched tables and dined outside. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It’s a hit or miss. It all depends what time you get there and where you get seated. Table for 2? Forget it, you will be seated in the back end around the corner OUTSIDE of the restaurant. Even with a reservation. We asked if it was at all possible and they said if we waited another hour… mind you we had a reservation Anyways, aside from the poor ambience if you’re seated outside, the food and service was decent. Overpriced for what it is especially if you’re seated in the plastic portable tables outside. I will say if you’re lucky enough to get seated inside then the experience may be different.

I was able to book a reservation with Open Table starting at 8:30am despite the fact that this restaurant opens at 10 am. That was huge mistake #1. Luckily our reservation was at 9:45. We showed up at 9:30 and found the staff heavily cleaning the place and unable to help us till after 10. Despite having multiple coffee options in their menu, they only offer regular coffee and they brew it in a 12 oz pot!!!! Second cup of coffee tasted like chlorine. Food was average. Will not return again. Waiters were friendly and tried their best. It was not their fault.

The tables will be small if you have a party of two, but it is manageable. Food came out fast and at the same time as the drinks. It is not a bad thing just order accordingly. Margarita flight was very good and Birria Tacos.

It was a great experience. The server didn’t really attend to us all to well probably cause I’m a bit younger and I didn’t look like I was gonna tip well, but they did a good enough job haha no issues and i made sure to tip well. Great food enjoyed the Burris tacos and burritos and the dessert was on point !

First time visiting their Brea location. Absolutely loved the service, food and drinks. Place was full due to the Valentines Day crowd, but our server was still very much available.

I made an appointment for 745. i show up at like 748 with wife and son. i made reservation for us to be able to enjoy a family dinner with great mexican food before it gets like a mini club. the food is expensive cus of inflation, but the waiter didnt attend to us much. unless we were looking right at him. our tacos were not what we ordered. I guess the music was too loud for waiter to hear. I would have ordered more drinks had he waited better. my wife and i got into a mini argument for me tipping him as much as i did. i rather not get into names, for his career sake. But do better. our table wasn't ready when we got there. there was a party so they did have people get walked over, but other reservations being checked in after got their table first. not to mention my phone call to call ahead, and getting put on hold and then phone hanging up. good place, not for kids. music videos had girls showing nipples being blurred out. gave my son my phone cus he was 4 and not ready for that. my son doesnt use devices btw. we only went there bc we had good times before when we went on my wifes first semester at csula and this was her last semester

We ended up leaving. Wanted to try the margarita flight, would not substitute the spicy one for a regular one. My stomach can’t handle spicy. Ordered a Cadillac margarita, it was awful. We sent it back and the attitude was “we don’t care.” It was literally nothing but store bought mix.

Delicious food. Server was great. Little noisy for my taste, but will definitely be back when in CA. Best carnitas tacos I have ever had.

Food was phenomenal, and the queso fundido and chicharones were finger licking 😋 good. The drinks can be to sweet, however there dirty Martini was just right !

We go to Tempo often and it never disappoints! It’s one of our favorite spots. The carne asada fries are one of my favs!

We set outside on the party patio and hardly ever saw our server. Flagged down another server to ask for a coke and he never came back either. Terrible service for the price

Was seated for over 15 minutes and no one approached to take our order. I had to ask a bus man for a waiter. In the mean time I noticed that the tall gay guy with glasses who was waiting the patio tables, kept walking back and forth passed the table I was at seeing there was nothing on my table but yet didn’t tend to us. 5 minutes later he comes and asks if we’ve been helped like if there was someone else waiting on the 3 patios tables. He then proceeds to take our order. My thing if he was supposed to be our waiter the whole time what took so long? The bus men were prescient in asking if I’d been taken care of after that. Which I appreciate. Service was terrible. Food was great. Drink, ok. This is the 2nd Tempo location I’ve been to and I think all around as a company their waiting service needs work at multiple locations.

Second time we have been here. Delicious food and drinks. We sat inside both times but there is outdoor seating. Music is loud and difficult to have a conversation but a fabulous place for dinner and drinks. Staff is professional and attentive.

I’ve here many times. The place is different a bit. The menu is overwhelming and hard to read. The decor is about much but very trendy. Service was ok. Food and drink are alway delicious.
