Teak Loveland is OPEN!
The Teak story began in the 1990s when the iconic restaurant opened in Cincinnati’s historic Mount Adams district. It was among the first authentic Thai restaurants in the Tri-State. Soon Teak became a neighborhood staple, serving delicious Thai cuisine with impeccable service. For 10 years Teak was named Cincinnati’s “Best Asian Cuisine,” “Best Sushi” and “Best Thai” by City Beat Magazine.

I had a party of eight for Mother’s Day. We had a few kids that are picky eaters but they even found food to enjoy. The popcorn chicken is a great choice for young appetites. The food is always great the table had crab puffs, sushi, stir fry’s, and pad Thai. All were delicious.

Well located Thai and Sushi restaurant features a large variety of classic Thai dishes and Sushi rolls. Food is very good although doesn’t reach outstanding. Good for groups and robust drink menu.

I had visited the OTR location before, so knew the menu. As usual the food was outstanding, and the service matched. In my opinion, one of the most underrated Asian restaurant in the area! Please try it! You won’t be disappointed!

We took our sushi friends who were visiting from NC and we all had a great experience! Excellent service, sushi the best ever, and all in an extremely immaculate dining environment! One of our favorite places to share with visitors!!!

Food was great. Service was good. The only issue was they sat us directly in front of the sun. Some of us couldn’t see anyone or anything because of the sun in our eyes. We asked if there was anything to do & she simply replied no.

Outstanding food and service - so hard to select! And I unfortunately forgot our server's name, but it as her first day and she was fantastic. Very friendly and efficient! We had Sushi and other appetizers, and everyone's entree was delicious. Servings are quite large - we needed boxes. I also had a smoked bourbon drink that was incredible! Highly recommend

Chris, the bartender was our server and was outstanding… combine that with the delicious food at a very reasonable price and it was 5 stars all around! We look forward to returning.

I had a shrimp dish with teriyaki, and it was very tasty. The Decor had elephants and crystal chandeliers which was fun. Our server was helpful and prompt.

It was extremely loud in the restaurant - early evening on a Friday evening. My companions really enjoyed their entrees, but I had the shrimp stir fry and while the vegetables were done very nicely, the shrimp had a slightly off taste (maybe it was the sauce?) and there was way too much food.

Only thing keeping my review from being 5 stars is the noise level. My husband and I wear hearing aids, and to hear each other, we had to lean close. If we'd been at the restaurant with friends, comfortable conversation would have been nearly impossible.

We love all the Teak locations. The one in Loveland has a bigger bar and possibly a bigger dining area. Food is still high quality and yummy. Still think it’s the best Pad Thai in the city

Arrived at 12:30pm, Friday. Provide a choice to pick table, four top bar. Chris was amazing!!!! Food was out of this world, as I remember. $$ Don mind as long it's amazing. Avocado sushi roll, mango chili sushi roll, Shrimp PadTai w/o eggs, panning Vegan. Spicy Pinapple Margherita was out of this world! Chris made sure everything was just as we ordered for my husbands birthday. Can't wait to go back soon. Yummy!

Terrible terrible meal!! I ordered the vegetable pad Thai. There were not many noodles in it and the veggies tasted like they had been in a crockpot for two days. When we left all four of us at our dinners were terrible and we would definitely not go again. Bummer because we loved teak in Mount Adams

Salmon and Izumi-Dai entrees were delicious as was the lettuce wrap app. Handmaid cocktails were also a treat! Service was great and the server did a good job balancing the number of tables. The open dining room was to capacity on a Tuesday night; the open room lends itself to a "lively" volume. I look forward to trying something else on the diverse menu.

I always worry a bit when I see a menu stuffed with selections. For Teak, they have two menus stuffed with selection. My worry is, at some point, quality breaks down. Large menu selections have thankfully started to be trimmed back in order to concentrate on better dishes and control. I will state that the staff here is very pleasant without being overly attentive. The first issue was having a menu with some rice on it, which stuck to my finger. Check, check, check them. We started with Coconut Shrimp and Spicy Fried Calamari served with a sweet sauce. Both were cooked perfectly. Good crunch on the shrimp and a thin coating on the Calamari, although I did not find Chili Peppers and only a couple of green onion pieces. For our main course, we ordered the Crispy Duck and Teak Trio. Unfortunately, the meals came out before the appetizers were done. Here is where loss of control takes place. Never rush an order out to get to the next one. It's about the customer enjoying a meal, not woofing it down. The Teak Trio can be ordered for a range of spice levels starting at 3, which was ordered. It was much higher. We've had food that left lips and tongue numb, but the trio was far higher than 3 and could not be eaten or enjoyed. This happens when you rush food out with numerous variations and control and quality checks breakdown. A spice level of 3 would have been half the paste used and mixed better. I also noted that the trio came out with that drying look as it sat too long waiting for the duck. The right thing was done as the trio was replaced with a Broccoli Stir Fry, which was very good. The trio was removed from the bill. The duck was crispy but overcooked, leaving the meat a tad dry. The vegetables were done well, and the sauce is quite good. The sticky rice was done to perfection. We may try here again, but there are other local establishments where these issues have not existed.

This was our first visit to Teak-Loveland. It has a great location in Loveland, near lots of shops (too cold for us to walk around but we would have in warmer weather). The decorations and atmosphere were great, and we were seated immediately with excellent service. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good - the shrimp were a little over fried. The Shrimp Tempura roll was excellent, and my Sashimi dinner was A-1. My wife enjoyed the pad Thai which was a rather large portion size, with the chicken overall lacking seasoning. The only detractor from the decor was a "cleaning cart" sitting right behind my wife with bleach/etc on it, probably because it was Valentine's day and they were turning tables fast. (I did mention it to management on the way out...) They should consider storing this eyesore in the back.... not right in the dining area. Still we were overall impressed, and the service made up for some of the shortcomings in the meal prep, we will definitely be back again, and recommend that you try it for yourself! Most restaurants have some small issues on Valentine's day, but overall great service, good food, and worth trying again! Again, we 100% recommend you try this for yourself, and we will be back.
