The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose. It really is an incredible setting for delicious dining.

Our award winning chef Glenn Roach who has previously held 3 AA rosettes and now already earned 1 AA rosette with his take on home cooking looks to recrate classic dishes and lets the locally sourced produce speak for it self

We went for a steak dinner for 2 for my birthday and it was exceptional. The steak was cooked just how we asked and the chips were the best I think we have ever tasted on a meal out. As it was my birthday they brought over a surprise for me. A platter of mixed delicious desserts with Happy Birthday written in white chocolate across the plate. It was divine and really made my day special. Cannot rate this place and it's wonderful staff enough. We've been half a dozen times now and every meal we've had has been amazing. If you don't go you're missing out.

Overall experience was great, nice surroundings and good food but we had difficulty trying to book the table for afternoon tea. Enquiry phonecalls and emails were not responded to.

Venue was excellent, food quality was amazing, appealing with look and taste. Absolutely superb. Service was quick, warm and friendly and efficient. Price was as expected, definitely reasonably well priced. We will definitely be back.

Food is exceptional and the serving staff are lovely. Maybe a few additional wines would be good so as to have a better variety to choose from.

Friendly service, quick and efficient. Delicious food and great value for money. Have already booked to return for brunch. Highly recommend.

As usual the food, service and value was excellent. My granddaughter was especially taken with the pancakes with strawberries cream and maple syrup so much so she refused to share them! Certainly worth a visit for delicious food and great service 😋

My mum and I popped in for brunch/breakfast as part of an Itison deal I’d picked up a few weeks ago. The building is beautiful and has been carefully looked after and decorated. The grounds looked immaculate too - it was a lovely setting for a meal. Breakfast was nice, I had pancakes and mum had poached eggs with avocado on sourdough. She is an egg aficionado and commented several times to say how perfect they were! A nice selection and attentive staff, everything was clean and welcoming and the atmosphere in the cafe room was lovely. A nice wee spot in Dundee.

This was an Itison brunch with beer and Prosecco for Mother's Day gift. It was very nicely done..we had lovely coffee too. Nothing to pay with the voucher. The room was quiet and the music was a great choice for us.

Taypark House is in a lovely setting and the dining room overlooks lovely gardens and a BBQ area. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The meal was excellent and beautifully presented. We would definitely go back.
