VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Made a reservation for terrace seating, we showed up on time and were told it would be another 5-10 mins just waiting on people to get up after paying. Hostess then told us she could seat us inside or wait more, we asked if we would be comped since we had reservations and are accommodating them. Hostesses told us the manager would see to it. They ended up seating us in the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen/washroom. Not the way we wanted to spend our anniversary dinner. Never got manager to comp any part of our dinner or drinks. Wouldn't remove the 3% surcharge. Not the way to run a service in my opinion.

New favorite date night spot but it's also accommodating for families. Elevated atmosphere, consistent, delicious food, great people watching.

Very tasty food in a lovely atmosphere. There was only one waiter to cover the whole patio and dining room so service was good but not always prompt. Don't miss the incredible puffed phyllo dessert with cinnamon ice cream!

Amazing lunch, happy hour menu was outstanding. Francesco took amazing care of us, he is the best. Made sure everything came out in a timely manner and was always checking up on us.

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! The GM host and weight staff were amazing. The restaurant and ambience are absolutely beautiful. The food was extraordinarily well prepared and delicious. Beautiful experience overall!

We adore this restaurant! The caliber of the food/the preparation/the presentation/and the taste is outstanding! The service is impeccable. And the Manager is excellent. Start with dessert-you won't regret it. ❤️❤️❤️

The food and service are great. The price is on the high end and the restaurant still charged a surcharge of 3%.

The ambiance is fantastic - great decor and scene. The food was just ok - we sent back one of our dishes as it was overcooked. They quickly replaced it, but both dishes were on the final check. Again, this was quickly resolved, but still annoying. We were there on a Saturday night so the vibe is definitely 'party' and there are lots of sparklers :) Fun spot.
