VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Delightful hostess and wait staff. Food was outstanding! And additionally, Gabe plenty of time for my friend and me to catch-up.

Our first time at Violi’s was a pleasant surprise. The service was great and the food was even better. Presentation was perfect. We even had the desert. All good. We will return.

Made my 3rd visit to Violi and it just keeps getting better. Started with the breads and spreads, a little octopus and some Greek wine. Moved on to the gyros which are amazing and definitely a portion big enough for 2-3 people. Our waiter was great and we enjoyed the food presentations at the table. We will be back!

This was my third time at Violo and it was a very disappointing. The food and service were not great . I got the short rib pasta and it was very salty as was the potatoes. I never send food back but when we spoke to the server we were told that the food would be the same if remade so it was better to eat it . Our server just seemed overwhelmed. Our drinks were late, my friend didn’t even get one of her drinks (which to be fair was comped). Violi charges fine dining prices (for the suburbs) but it was definitely not a fine dining experience regarding the food or service. I would not recommend Violi anymore . Also the noise level is just super high.

We sat inside while most people were on the “patio”. It was much quieter inside. The food and service were great.
