We had a really enjoyable experience at Taverna-Buckhead. The restaurant had a nice vibe with upbeat music that wasn't too loud. We really enjoyed our food selections. The zucchini fritters were quite tasty. The mussels were good as well. The sauce was a little saltier than I like but the mussels themselves were fresh and flavorful. For main dishes, we had 2 servings of lasagna al forno (YUMMY!), the tagliatelle alla bolognese (another YUMMY!), and the paglia e fieno (final YUMMY!). We added the chef's focaccia a few bites in, noting that we wanted bread for dipping. It was light, airy, and delicious. The rosemary olive oil and garlic were distinct. We all loved the flavor. Extra bonus when the focaccia is dipped in olive oil and balsamic. Megan, our server, seemed knowledgeable. She happily answered our questions and shared some of the differences that dishes can have based on the regions in Italy. Apparently the current chef is from Milan. Anyway, it was a lovely family dinner and we are glad we chose it for our Father's Day celebration.

We were celebrating 3 birthdays in my family so I made sure to write the information down when making the reservation. I love how the staff paid attention to my note and brought out birthday desserts for the table!

Dinner was amazing and the server was great. I do not remember her name, but she was well mannered and made sure that our table had everything that we did need. The utensils were dirty. There was food residue on the utensils So I have to ask for another set however, the server did apologize and made sure I had a new set right away.

Good was great and fast - drinks were slow - the waitress was training a person on our table - we were not offered fresh Parmesan and the manager skipped over our table to ask how things were - the thing that saved the experience was the food was outstanding

I love taverna ! Their brunch and dinner is exceptional! The staff is always so welcoming and the food is so filling. The dessert is probably my favorite part honestly

Nice location and competent Bar Service. Value for the price was above-average. Three of us - 2 rounds of drinks and two appetizers along with salads, main courses (Bronzino, Osso Buco, and a special Ravioli). Split a dessert & all under $300 before tip. N.B. The description of the special ravioli was a bit misleading - “Brisket Ravioli” did not have Brisket in the filling but ostensibly in the sauce. Would return.

Early dinner so it wasn’t crowded. Nice patio to sit out on. Great service and the food came quickly and tasted great.
