We are a plant-based fine dining restaurant where fresh, seasonal ingredients become art that you can see, smell, touch, and taste. Where different cultures and cuisines blend and evolve. Where each plate is a canvas, and every meal is a masterpiece.

Our mission is to make plant-based cuisine a tasteful choice instead of a lifestyle sacrifice. Our tasting menus are crafted to satisfy all the senses. We celebrate Orange County's diversity by blending flavors, cooking techniques, and dining experiences from various cultures. We aim to entice a more climate-conscious diet.

It had a nice ambiance and had many open windows or clear windows. However, the food was not much out of the ordinary or anything special that I could recall, not that it was bad. Overall, it was average.

Service rushed, “people waiting,” but did not see. We had a firm reservation. For 8 course meal for $88-99 pp, one course should be finished before another arrives and you should be able to relax and enjoy. I would ask for cushioned chair next time—bare wood hard on the “rear.” Meal was imaginative and unique, but wouldn’t return until next season menu offered. Service friendly but as above a little too fast. Atmosphere open and pleasant.

Honestly the best plant based experience of my life - hands down - by far and away. Food is prepared as literal pieces of art. I cannot recommend highly enough. Special occasions it is a must!

We had the pleasure of visiting Taste of Beauty during a stunning sunset to celebrate a special occasion. Our first impression was how peaceful the vibe was inside the restaurant. From the decorations to the music to the furniture, everything exuded a serene atmosphere that we found very welcoming. We were seated promptly as I had already reserved a table online. Then, we were presented with a simple menu featuring vegan or vegetarian sets, making it easy for us to choose without any hesitation. Each dish was thoughtfully designed to provide the best experience for the customer. While we waited for our food, the staff also offered us the opportunity to enjoy special incense from Vietnam and Cambodia, along with tea or water. Since there were four of us, we ordered two dishes each so we could share. And let me tell you, the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, each dish accompanied by its own unique story. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning to try out the new menu when it becomes available.

Spectacular! Come for a special occasion to be swept off your feet by the service and stunning culinary creations, then come back again to just enjoy the delicious food and not have to take a picture of every course. This is really something special and don't worry that it's plant-based-your meat-loving friends won't even notice they'll be so dazzled and satisfied. Highly recommended!

Taste of Beauty deserves a 1 Michelin star for their superb presentation, flavorful & innovative vegan dishes, the serene atmosphere, excellent service and overall beautiful restaurant. A special shoutout to Anthony for his thorough explanation of the different stories behind the names and the 8 dishes and for George Guo for his unique tea ceremony. Bravo!

Vegan food can get boring fast, so this was such a treat! Amazing 8 course meal that had us so full by the end the last course we had to take to go. Beautiful setting, with stories for each course and just beautiful plates. Definitely an experience to recommend!

Ambience is nice, restaurant has a nice eastern / asian beautiful decor, service is excellent, they go out and about of their way to make your dinner special. I was given an extra shot of alcohol as i told the waiter cocktail was not strong enough when asked, the manager / owner gave chinese incense table side complimentary & even gave an ornamental flower, also the theme for each dish with accompanying description was cool, if you are a hardcore vegan you would enjoy coming to this place. they serve vegetarian and vegan options, also they stand by their principle of eating art as the dishes are beautifully plated and constructed

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and culture. Food was amazing (taste and visually)! One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Truly magical and outstanding multisensory experience! Will definitely be back!

hidden gem- equivalent to a michelin star- best presentation and phenomenal flavor- ambiance is high with light music and incense- was pricey but worth the experience we will be back soon

We went in for lunch to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. This is my third time dining here. Both the services and food were always exceptional. Our server explained to us the chef’s thought and meaning in each dish. Both vegetarian and vegan dishes were very tasty. Definitely will go back again.

Bar none the most expensive value I've had. $133 for 2 people to eat and afterwards my wife was still slightly hungry, and I went and got Carls Jr after for a full meal. 6 course order and I got as much food as you'd get in your standard appetizer. Only one course was actually good, 2 were God awful revolting, thankfully my wife could stomach it more than I could. Went most of the meal never seeing our server except for explaining why they mixed up what was being served to us, and also went half the meal without anything to drink being offered. As an idea, its cool. Food as art. As the person paying for it and wanting to actually be full from my meal, very upset. Mandatory 18% gratuity built in, have the gall to ask for 10% more, force you to be a confrontational ingrate and complain in order to have it removed.

Not sure why social media has not commented on this place more. Celebrated my milestone birthday at Taste of Beauty. My husband and I were tended to perfectly in a private room. Loved how Anthony and Tony provided a background story for every dish that made the whole experience that much more memorable.

Not worth of what it costs, there’s effort to make the food look pretty but they taste the same as any regular Chinese restaurants. There’s also no ingredients that are worth mentioning despite being a vegetarian cuisine. We waited for 30 minute plus for the table despite having a reservation. Service was bad, the person introduced himself at the beginning and we didn’t see him until the check comes, and we had to ask for the next dish to come after a long wait and even needed to tell him what’s next on a tasting menu. Not recommended

I had high expectations going in based on the reviews and the restaurant definitely met and exceeded my expectations We loved the food and the service- it not only looked beautiful but tasted just as good I would highly recommend the place to people looking for different / unique culinary experience

Ok we were so excited to take our vegan friend here for her birthday. The pictures were so beautiful. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. Mostly due to horrible service. To start we sat for 45 before we even got waters and we were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We had to ask for the tea parings and an hour and a half in we got a small pitcher of cold tea but no cups or glasses to drink it from. Again we had to ask when the waiter came back 15 min later. They subbed out the second course and the dessert course both we were looking forward to. The forth course was a motel Mushroom mountain scene. It was kind of cool until the plate broke from the dry ice and drenched my side of the table. When we told the server she just said oh that’s no good and the only attempt to clean up the mess was to lean over my husband take my menu witch was soaked and proceeded to drip all over his arms and food. The foot and a half puddle was still there when we left. The food was just alright so that did not make up for the terrible 3 hour service. Prices are $89 per person plus 18% gratuity Our experience with Taste of Beauty was in no way worth $450 for 4 people. I feel totally ripped off and we all left still hungry!

Food concept, presentation, taste, and texture 5 stars. Service 1 star. Only two wait staff on a Saturday night. Not friendly, not experienced. Waited more than 10 minutes after being seated to have menu brought over. Another 30 minutes for water/tea. First course served nearly one hour after. Two hours into the evening we barely got through half the course. They then skipped the 6th then brought 7th and 8th (dessert) at the same time after we requested faster service. Noted it's a birthday celebration when making reservation on Open Table but no acknowledgement of any kind before, during, or after our meal. This has the potential to be a Michelin rated restaurant but needs a lot of work on improving the service. It runs like a soft opening even though it's been around since 2021.

The food was fine, but each course had a 45 minute break in between so the entire meal took more than 3 hours. There was not enough staff to support the tables. We got frustrated and saw other tables getting frustrated too.

Food looks good but taste was just OK. Mostly mushrooms. Not worth the price.

Beautiful restaurant, very nice service and owner. Hardly anyone at all in the restaurant but us. Food was gorgeous and tasted as good as it looked.

I went here for my engagement and everything was so nice. My waiter met me by the restroom to take the ring in secret and brought it out with our last course. My fiance had a wonderful time and so did I. It was a wonderful experience and a pleasure.

My vegetarian wife balked when she saw the price, but she was won over immediately by the first dish on the tasting menu. I, as a non-veg, was arguably even more wowed by the amazing things they did with some of the most exotic mushrooms I have never heard of! Delightful, sublime, phenomenal and rejuvenating!

This place is by far one of the greatest full course meals I’ve ever experienced. Food was great, staff was outstanding, and overall a place I would advise anyone to try!

Wonderful food & service! Birthday party group of 6 on a Saturday night. Treated to vegan and vegetarian 8 course pre-fixe menu. WHAT A TREAT! Most of us are meat eaters and this experience was a wonderful and delightful treat! Food was deelicious & we were stuffed!

It’s a unique experience. The food is lovely. Each course is pretty. But the beauty exceeded the taste to me. I just didn’t think the food was delicious. Maybe I’m not the audience.

The food is presented so delicately and the same as how the pictures are shown. The service was amazing. Food is delicious and worth the price since you can see the amount of craftsmanship they put into each plate. I would definitely return and bring more friends and family to try.

Super pleased to find this place and definitely bringing others (even non-vegetarians) back to experience it. I’m not a vegetarian but am always interested to see how creative one can be with non-meat dishes. Taste of Beauty has a super-creative menu that will pique your curiosity (if you’re like me and everything looks interesting, do the tasting menu - everything good, many different flavors and textures, filling enough and reasonable at $69).
