The most beautiful and thought out menu with matching wines. We couldn’t fault anything and cannot wait to come back and experience another month’s menu. The knowledge Mitch had around his wines and matching them with the menu created by the chef was unreal. you can really tell they love what they do. Cannot recommend this place enough for the food, wine and overall experience. Thankyou!

We had an excellent evening.The food was delicious and the wine was very good. We enjoyed hearing about where the wine was from etc .

Brilliant This is the second time we have been to Taste in the past few months. The first was for our wedding anniversary, and the second when we had family visiting from overseas. The food was outstanding and the entire menu and matching wines different to when we were there only 2 months prior. The service is simplistic but excellent. Mitch the lead waiter and sommelier is extremely knowledgeable, personable and super friendly. All discussions and explanations about the food and wine are totally unscripted and straight from his passion and knowledge for the topic. The food is always fresh, well balanced, packed with local Tassie produce and simply delicious. Sometimes when you go for a nice, more costly feed, the potion sizes disappoint and you leave hankering for a double cheese on the way home, not at Taste. Well done team, top stuff 👍🏻💪🏻
