Taru Rockin Sushi and Sake House is now open in Chinatown (4480 Spring Mountain Rd., Suite 500) serving contemporary Japanese Cuisine from Chef Takashi Takahashi and Yamamoto. Taru uses the freshest ingredients by partnering with local and international suppliers, and changes the menu seasonally, inspired by the abundance and variety of edible offerings from soil and sea.

    Absolutely fantastic. As a first-time customer, I tried a bunch of stuff: the 10 piece premium sushi plus toro roll and miso soup, mixed tempura, Japanese fried chicken, and mushroom miso pasta. All the dishes were very good, especially the mushroom miso pasta which was phenomenal. Service was really good, thoughtful, and genuinely warm and friendly. Overall, really great and high quality food, exceptional service, large portion sizes, and tremendous value. I'm sure I'll be back over and over.

    Dinner was exceptional as well as the staff. Booked an appointment with the last booking, but Uber canceled and we were running late. Received a phone call and they were kind enough to take our order over the phone and by the time we arrived, the dishes were ready for us. Fish was fresh and everything tasted amazing!

    TARU is an awesome spot. Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You John & EJ), great beer list, and fresh & quality ingredients. I highly recommend TARU.

    The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The food came out unbelievably quickly. Water was refilled quickly. The chef was super friendly on our way in and out. Now to the food. Fish is unbelievably fresh and creamy. Got oysters. Got spicy tuna crispy rice. Garlic edamame. Miso soup. Blue fin tuna and toro. Salmon and salmon belly. Yellowtail and yellowtail belly. Eel. Scallop. Albacore and uni. Don’t waste your time on the strip for sushi. This is without question the best sushi spot in Vegas. It’s in china town it’s worth the $10 Uber ride. Just go

    Our waiter was extremely helpful for our first time and gave us great suggestions. A go to spot for future dinner dates.

    Incredibly fresh sushi and sashimi. Wife and I had a great meal here. The service was excellent, the food was top notch, and the ambiance/decor was excellent! We will be back soon 👍
