    If your name is Raina and your a manager here you should be fired, for starters. When someone calls a manager it usually to help sort through the issue not make it worse. Her lack of professionalism was absolutely atrocious she could not recall restaurant policies and had no proof whatsoever, she was fabricating her own rules along the way. If you want quality food and service this is not the place. The vibe and service has gone down significantly in the last few years - also since this a major tourist spot maybe tell people to bring their passports before coming if your going to refuse people from out of the country. I also have a North American ID FROM ONTARIO - if you are unfamiliar with IDs and need passports then that’s an issue - I walked right next door to Catch got a table in 2 minutes and didn’t get asked for an ID because we literally all look our age!! Never have I ever experienced that in the City and I’ve been here multiple times. I was beyond profiled, bullied and integrated in Tao by the manager Raina. There’s people that actually needs jobs out there and this girl is operating with such disgrace in an atmosphere where you should have grace.

    Even though having a reservation we wait almost 40 minutos for getting our table (is not the first time). Besides that, it’s a very nice place and the food is just excellent.

    If you can withstand the high decibel level in the main dining area on a Saturday night, the food and service are really good.

    The food was great, the ambience was amazing and the waiter Miguel was great. I always enjoy eating at Tao.

    My family and I (from Orange Beach, AL.) had a fantastic dinner here! The atmosphere is a one-of-a-kind experience! Highly recommend all the food, but be sure to order the Shanghai fried rice (egg wrapped) and the gigantic fortune cookie dessert that’s filled with chocolate & vanilla mousse….it’s OUTSTANDING!! Definitely would come back here again.
