TAO Chicago offers guests a sensual trip through the cuisines of Asia. The design-driven restaurant and adjoining nightclub is inspired by the original TAO locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

TAO Chicago features multiple levels, creating dynamic spaces within the historic building’s shell, while adding TAO’s Asian-influenced DNA to the restaurant, lounge and nightclub including murals by artist Hush and TAO’s signature 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring one end of the dining room.

TAO Chicago’s restaurant menu, created by TAO Group Partner and Chef Ralph Scamardella , is complete with Pan-Asian offerings from the sea, sky and land including signature dishes like Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy Rice Tuna and a Wagyu Rib-Eye.

    Happy hour is only in the bar which is slightly annoying as the “lounge” seats are very small and you have to hunch to eat your food. Ambiance is incredible. We had the martini flight which was so good. The bao buns and chicken gyzro were incredible. The flavor of the chicken lo mein was great but the chicken was incredibly dry and the dish was not warm. Overall would go back again

    Very bad experience, I have been to other Taos and I thought I was going to do the same and it wasn't, we spent an hour and 20 minutes waiting for the food, the staff didn't even apologize, the food wasn't good. I wouldn't go back to this one.

    Phenomenal! It was our first time and we will be back. Beautiful venue & delicious food.

    We had an amazing dining experience. Every bite was delicious. We had one of every appetizer and sushi to start. The special appetizer with lobster was an amazing bite. For entrees we dined on the lobster fried rice, salmon, branzino, oysters and shrimp. Not a single complaint. I will add that the drinks were top tier as well. You won’t go wrong with the Nirvana (if you like a little spice).

    I wish we were able to take our leftovers in a to go container. We left a large amount of food that we didn’t eat and it was thrown away. We did spend a good amount of money to not be able to take it.

    We had a great time. We started with soup and shrimp tempura. The restaurant is quite beautiful and a very upbeat atmosphere. The music is fun but to loud. We had the pork fried rice and orange chicken. Food came out very hot and large portions. Service is great and the entire team works well together. Chef Kevin Wu and tge manager both came by our table making a wonderful dinner even more special. You will have fun.

    I took my loved ones to Tao Chicago and had the best cocktails, & dim sum ! I’m a Tao bartender in Las Vegas and Tao Chicago brings an experience unlike any other. Thank you Tao Chicago for the incredible dining experience ♥️

    We were happy to be seated near the top of the stairs, where we aren't surrounded by other tables and the music is at a relatively acceptable level. Our main issue is that our server was mostly absent. We don't need someone hovering over us, but our order was not even taken for over half an hour after our arrival, and not until long after our drinks arrived. One side dish was incorrect. Had the server been around sooner to ask how everything was, we would have said something. As it was, we ate it, and it was "fine," but not what we had wanted or ordered. I think the fault was in the kitchen, but there didn't seem to be a way to correct it before we had finished the rest of the meal, given how scarce our server was. We also had a long wait to get our bill, then she disappeared again. We finally went to the check-in desk to pay.
