We, at Tandoori Flame Restaurants, are extremely excited to be bringing our ‘GRAND INDIAN BUFFET’ experience to British Columbia. Tandoori Flame provides a unique dining experience with unmatched ethnic taste, live food stations, made to order street food, and more, all in a setting that’s perfect for family, corporate and private events.

A different class of an ‘Indian kitchen’ on it’s own, this establishment will provide a rustic, traditional yet contemporary design overlooking the bustling of Scott Rd through 200 linear feet of glass walls. All blending into an array of finely hand carved Indian artifacts and paintings from historic Raja and Rani and other exclusive pieces! And of course, a bar with Cocktail and Mocktail list exclusive to Tandoori Flame Restaurants. All in all, a ‘Unique Experience’ with Indian Food, right in the heart of Surrey-Delta, catering to all the hungry people out there.

Weekday menu is a bummer. Very limited options. Chat counter was terrible - they just lead laid out some bhel call it chat counter - it was not a live counter as it should be. No pav bhaji, no puris, plan rice for vegetarians! And don't get started about the drinks without price tags. Oh and if it's your birthday they offer to come and sing to you at 45$!!! Never seen this level of rip off anywhere!

It was too expensive. Surprisingly they don't even give jug of water you need to purchase a small $6 bottle.

The bill was shocking. We ordered fruit juice that we found that was not include and they charged us $35 for each!!!! equal the price of all food for each. So tricky and unreasonable.

Food selection is good, too many to choose from. Buffet bar is kept clean and foods are kept hot and properly covered / protected so I feel safe they are not contaminated. Service is also good and adequate. The food tastes authentic to me but I’m no expert. My son said their butter chicken is not as good as those from his favorite restaurant but it still tastes pretty good to me. I’d go more often if I could eat a lot but I don’t so it’s a little bit pricey for me :)

We had heard so much about the Grand Indian Buffet at Tandoori Flame. The experience can be summed up as "meh. I've had better". The food quality was sub-par, no authenticity about it, very greasy, and the stations were not filled in a timely manner. For the price you are paying, there are so many options nearby that have quality food, and fresh food. I would advise everyone to give Tandoori Flame a miss and try some other place around there.

Great food Shocked and disappointed at up charge of $40 per person for lunch buffet Made a reservation weeks in advance and had no idea of holiday rate Would have appreciated a better table away from a post considering we reserved

selection of food is quite good. also selection of desserts. the naan was so delicious and made fresh in the barrel oven. different flavours too! food areas are kept clean and bathroom was clean too. waiters were nice. most items are labeled so you know what they are. what is concerning is their ethical practice and lack of transparency. i had read other reviews before we went there so i was already aware and these complaints were confirmed when we were there in person. first, water bottles on each table are NOT free. there is no price on it, there is no sign to explicitly state it costs $$ (we didn't open it cuz other reviewers said $6 ish for the water). the waiter does not tell you it's NOT free. you can order cups of water for free. the waiter pushed the cocktails. also, NO PRICES listed. (other reviewers said if you get alcoholic cocktail, you have to pay extra for the alcohol!). we ordered chai tea (we found out we were charged $5 each for very small cups of tea). but they were tasty. huge buffet of food and desserts, even pizza, some fruit, salad bar, ice cream, soft serve, etc. but NO drinks whatsoever. so if you don't ask for cups of free water, your only other choices are overpriced cocktails/mocktails or the bottled water on your table. we went for the lunch buffet on a wednesday. there was already a small lineup at 11:30am but everyone got seated and lots of seating inside, no problem. large free parking lot. we paid $33 each. the pro is that you get to try different items but i wouldn't say it's worth the expensive price but okay for once in a while.
