It was my birthday dinner and it was perfect. Exactly the atmosphere I was looking for as we dined on the terrace. The food, service and drinks were awesome.

Food portions were very small, but tasty. Expensive pricing for small food is a let peeve but at least it wasn’t nasty. At the end, our waiter explained that he gave another table our bill and we had to pay theirs. He told us their total was less than ours would’ve been but 🤷🏾‍♀️

We had a wonderful brunch experience. Our waiter Juan was top-notch, the food was delivered with appropriate timing and explanation, and most importantly, everything tasted wonderful.

The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish presenting a delightful array of flavors that were both unique and satisfying. What really tied our dining experience together, however, was the exceptional service. A special shout out to our server, Eva, who was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. The attentive and friendly service made our celebration even more special. I highly recommend Tán for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in NY.

Everything was great except for the service, which wasn’t bad, per se…just unattentive after the last round of plates were put down. Towards the end, one of us ordered a drink while still eating and it didn’t arrive until long after plates were cleared. We were actually presuming it was forgotten (which is still possible) and were waiting for the chance to ask for the check. Next thing we see is a nod our way and a run to the bar. No words. It was too long to wait for the drink and it wasn’t particularly want it by then, having finished dinner. We still took it, paid for it, and tipped on it. Also -very warm in lounge and restaurant. Thankfully we sat outside As originally said - everything else was a 5* experience. Thanks, Bob

However, we do apologize for the lapse in service you encountered towards the end of your meal. Unattentive service and delays, especially when it comes to requests like a drink, are not reflective of the standards we strive to maintain. Your comments have been taken to heart, and we will be implementing additional staff training focused on maintaining attentiveness throughout the entirety of our guests’ dining experiences. We will also review our temperature management, especially in our lounge and restaurant areas, to ensure a comfortable environment for all our patrons. Restaurant was great! Definitely recommend. Food and drinks were amazing! The setting for both the restaurant and speakeasy bar, were aesthetically pleasing. The staff were all very attentive, friendly and kind.

Tan is a beautiful themed restaurant that transports you to Tulum. Great atmosphere, staff was so helpful and attentive and the food delicious!! The lobster rolls, guacamole and tuna ceviche were fantastic!! The short rib is a must for main course and sea bass excellent
