Autrement dit - TALLULAH est née d'un amour pour la nourriture, le vin et les gens. Un lieu accueillant qui sert de la nourriture "propre" et des vins soigneusement choisis, dans un espace d'une élégance décontracté. Le chef Nick Geftos conçoit des menus saisonniers respectant la tendance culinaire appelée 'de la fourche à la fourchette'. Un réseau d'agriculteurs et de fournisseurs locaux permet d'assurer des ingrédients frais et de qualité supérieure. Avec l'aide de sommeliers locaux, le propriétaire Mario Camaj, a créé une carte des vins particulièrement variée. I am so grateful that Ian at State and Liberty recommended Tallulah! Had a phenomenal time on Morher’s Day! The menu was perfect and the drinks were divine!

Tallulah is a lovely staple for us. We enjoy the ambience and the staff. The food is always delicious. We had the halibut, cacio et pepe, mussels, coco shrimp and the Caesar salad yesterday and they were fantastic.

Do not patronize this place! It’s unfortunate that we have owners and restauranteurs that have built their business model and customer service based on their perceived “loaded”patron. Located in upscale Birmingham, MI they put lipstick on the pig and called it “pretty”. It is not. Tallulah Wine Bar & Bistro blatantly and openly disrespects certain patrons. We made a reservation in advance. On the day of I received a phone call asking about my reservation and was told “just so you know there’s an hour and a half limit, will you be done by then?” I responded saying, “I’m not sure”. To which they replied, “well, just try to be done!” I started to cancel but I wanted to see if it was just a fluke. We arrive, service was interesting, we felt rushed. However, the table next to us full of non-melanated folks were nice and comfortable, they were there before we even arrived, so the hour and a half time limit doesn’t apply to them. They were servicing them very nicely, they even brought over more chairs for others arriving later. Does anyone think that they would call a non-melanated person and advise them prior to their reservation that there is an hour and a half time limit? All other reviews that have stated they felt rushed, this is true. And stated their food was “basic” or just simply “not good”, this is true. And stated they felt melanated patrons were treated differently vs. the others, this is true. Patronize this place at your own risk. I will never return and anyone that asks or even looks like they are thinking of considering this restaurant, I will tell them to spend their money at an establishment that truly cares about their customers and have a passion for what they do vs. those that only care about who they can make the most money off of with a lackluster menu and terrible food.

The best food ever, very authentic and original .Presentation was awesome and food was delivious. Robert our server was very attentive and cheerful. Will definitely go back again

Wonderful as always. The two hour limit is a bit pushy and kind of dampens the experience because you have to be cognizant of time while trying to be in the moment. I know a lot U.S. restaurants are going to this model but it’s unfortunate.

The restaurant was quaint, but tight in terms of space. The server for the table next to use had his entire behind in our faces. And the noise volume was high we couldn’t barely hear one another. I would like to try the other side time time. Our table was on the bar side

Although food & service were great, my friends and I wanted to go to Tallulah for the atmosphere and ended up being seated in the private dining room. I think we should’ve been notified when we made the reservation because we would’ve picked a different restaurant. If we wanted to be seated alone in a quiet room we would’ve had dinner at one of our houses.

We had a wonderful dinner with family. We ordered the halibut special which was amazing and the NY Strip. The parsnip soup and Caesar were also very good. The three of us shared two bottles of wine. 😊 Our server was very attentive and so were the other team members. We did not feel rushed at all and there is a two hour maximum time limit per table. Overall we really enjoyed it and will be back.

Really nice wine list, and couple that with the cheese plate and it's a wonderful start to a relaxing evening. Melanie was our server, and was attentive and fun. The lamb ragu, if you like pasta dishes, is a hit. The dessert choices are not extensive, but then again, the restaurant is not massive in size. I'd rather the volume of choices to be part of the entrees, and not at the finish, when I'm already full!

Food was bland, over cooked, and under seasoned. We were sat in a small cramped room where the server barely fit while greeting us, during dinner service he had to lean over me to cut open my bagged fish entree. It was very awkward, we will not be returning. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Went here for a post Valentine’s Day dinner and it was amazing! The ambience is sultry and upscale, the Pinot Grigio was tasty, we ordered the beef tenderloin appetizer and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the scallops and I had the Cacio e Pepe and it was divine! Finished off with the signature cheesecake which was also fulfilling. Very glad we decided to try something new! Mike was our waiter and he was exceptional! Will be back for bar service. 😊

Waiter was fantastic, food was phenomenal. The hostess/reservation set up was not ideal. We made a res for 730, called them to let them know we were running 10 mins late. They said if we were 15 mins late it was canceled, which is fine. We got there about 5 mins late then waited 15 mins to be seated. So why the threat in the first place

A little loud but that isn’t the restaurant’s fault. Our server Melony was fantastic. The portion sizes are small. Great tasting food, just expensive for the small portion received. Enjoyed our time there

Food was enjoyable, the experience not so much. Very tight space & older guests nearby were blowing vape smoke, extremely drunk falling out of seats, & leaning all over our table. Didn’t seem like the time or place, and we felt like management should’ve done something to get them under control. Not a good first impression for us!

Great atmosphere and energy. Food is beautifully presented and menu items are creative. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were prepared perfectly and were flavorful. The menu is well curated. Tallulah never dissappoints.
