Tahk Omakase is located on Lincoln Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs.
We offer the best sushi you will find in Steamboat and beyond. Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5pm.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
We offer regular tables, high-tops, sushi bar seats, and "counter", our community high-top bar.
Please visit tahksushi.com or OpenTable to book reservations and view our menus.
You will confirm with a secure credit card link.

We appreciate timely arrival for your reservation, we can only hold tables for 15 minutes.
We will do our best to accommodate your party but cannot guarantee a table.

We will not be answering the phone during our busy dinner service, we will likely check next business day or we will check OpenTable DM. Take-out will be limited depending on the capacity of our restaurant.

In the case you don't cancel the reservation within 24 hours, your card will be charged $25pp.
If your party is 9 or more, please call to reserve.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Service was great, maybe too fast at times? Only critique would be the menu is a little limited.

We came for the omakase experience, and it absolutely delivered. The chef put together an amazing 12 course meal, and the outstanding quality of the food was matched by the excellent service. We brought our 14yo and 10yo boys, and the chef could not have been kinder to them. They enjoyed the meal as much as we did. We hope to make this an annual treat, and highly recommend it as a wonderful experience in Steamboat.

The food and service were absolutely amazing. The staff could not have been nicer, were extremely knowledgeable and offered great suggestions. Their bar manager was also exceptional and created a couple of masterful drinks. Bravo and see you next time we are in town!

Tahk is the Best Experience in Steamboat-hands down. The fish is beyond fresh and the selection is as good as anything in NYC or SF.

Excellent high quality fish and amazing execution! Fabulous flavors. Erin our waitress was great! Ask for her! So good we made another reservation for later this week. Highly recommend.

The nigiri was amazing and the rolls were flavorful. The quality of the fish was an asset. A must in Steamboat if you like sushi.

We enjoyed it so much we went back 2 nights in a row. The people that work there are welcoming and the food is delicious. Definitely worth trying out

My partner and I were very excited to dine here and paid for their 120pp omakase experience. Unfortunately the head chef was very inattentive, seemed way too stressed out because they were down a chef for the main dining room, and ended up being quite rude to his other servers and guests. Sushi rice was cold and not well seasoned/seemed like it wasn’t fresh, which is critical for omakase. That said, the fish itself was fresh - we liked that the preparations weren’t too gimmicky, and the servers were lovely despite having a very angry boss that evening. Overall, not worth how much we paid. Too bad!
