My boyfriend and I had a really great experience on Tuesday night, we had been wanting to visit for a while and it lived up to our expectations! Great food and drinks, and I wish I remembered our server's name but we were at the 7:15pm table sticking out of the brick pillar on the right side of the restaurant. He did a wonderful job and provided excellent service.

We had a wonderful experience tonight! We are visiting from out of town and we wanted to find a great place for dinner and service! We got that at Taffer’s Tavern— the food was great, the ambience was exquisite, and our server, George, was AMAZING!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Taffer’s Tavern. And, we learned that there is a location in our state!!! Great night, great food, and even better service! Highly recommend!!!

The food is just incredible. Every persons’ meal in my group was great. Drinks are delicious and fancy. Prices are reasonable.

Great food, service and ambience. We had the All American Burger and the Fish & Chips. The fries are AMAZING - crispy and well-seasoned.

INCREDIBLE!!! Great service, food was incredible and reasonably priced, cocktail program was great and overall was an amazing experience! Ambience was nice and it wasn’t too loud.

Shut it down!!!!! This has become a fanboy trap! Note this was my 3rd time here (I was here on their opening day… last December and then today) This place use to be good but has gone way downhill since December. I was the only one there yet waiters walking around like zombies. Order was wrong. Didn’t even ask how my meal was and why it wasn’t finished. Cold staff.. empty restaurant and staff just hanging around not attentive. They don’t even have Taffers bourbon. F- . Reflects horribly on Jon. Shut it down!!! NOTE: Their response is completely disingenuous just to look good. They didn't even bother to ask me what the specific problems were. Pretty hard to believe "things will get fixed" when they don't know what needs to be fixed. It's been nearly 24 hours and I am astonished that this restaurant was opened by a guy who has made a name for himself by being critical of other businesses.

I've been to Taffer's 4 times. The first 3 were excellent, but the 4th was a big disappointment. I made a reservations for 8 at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, and the weren't more than 10 people in there when we arrived. Long story short, we waited 30 minutes for our cocktails and I almost went outside to find our server, Leslie, who was terrible. Along with waiting forever for drinks, she forgot my appetizer and still put it on the bill (which I had her remove) No apology, no nothing. She was by far the worst server I have ever had there. The others (George is the only name I remember) were awesome. I was in there before a Caps game and it was packed but we still received great service and food was great. Not sure why they can't get it together when no one is in there, but I was very disappointed after recommending it to the group. John Taffer would not have stood for service like this!!!
