The cocktails were presented wonderfully, and tasted great! The food was also delicious. The spinach dip appetizer was a great starter, and the braised short rib was incredibly tender!

This is not my first visit and the food is always just average at best. Only went for this last visit because we had a larger party and it was a last minute dinner and we could get a reservation. Service is always below average (except the day I was there and Mr. Taffer was visiting…then it was incredibly attentive.). Appetizers and entrees came out at the same time. Water glasses (the only thing some of us were drinking) stayed empty until we could flag down our server. Just bad.

We've been to taffers many times and enjoy it. This night it was just understaffed. It was a local prom and nice weather so everyone was out and it was packed. Our server had like 6-8 tables with multiple being 15+ people (we were a table of 4). We were seated on time with our reservation and ordered drinks and apps promptly...then our drinks sat at the bar for at least 15-20 minutes and we almost went up and got them ourselves. About 10 minutes later we got the drinks...then we went and talked to the host and manager...then the apps came about 15 minutes after that (mind you we ordered them at the same time and were going on 45-55 minutes of being seated to just finally get our drinks and apps) we then ordered another round of drinks and entrees...which they were out of some items. The manager stopped by our table, gave a sincere apology, our waiter sincerely apologized too. We got the dessert First...which was fine and the only thing one person ordered...then we got a soup and then a burger and chicken sandwich came. we ate quickly and left. We did get a discount on our over all bill, which was appreciated. We ended up being there over 3 hours and luckily we didn't have any more plans. We will go back, because we do like this place, but management needs to be more aware with scheduling and provide their servers with the support they need.

Service was a mess! Jon Taffer would have been livid! Server forgot what we ordered. Was lost (invisible for 20 minutes when I would have liked to order another beer. He was polite but not what John Taffer shows as his type of culture. And this ovation was out of stock on popular item (French Dip). And he didn’t know how, nor did he put my Taggers app reward points in!!!!

I have been here twice in the last week. Great service, drinks and food. They had trivia night last night and it was really fun. Dante was a great server too!

I would only get a salad there. Their chicken comes in and it’s pre-prepared cooked not even warm in the center. It was awful the worst chicken meal I’ve ever gotten. you’re better off with the TV dinner

Great great experience. The food, the drinks & the presentation was really great. The music was a great mix and the noise level was great. The waiter Jorge was amazing. Can’t wait to go again.

Drinks were great. Food was good. Front hostess was great we got seated right away. Our waiter was below average. Had a hard time hearing him and did not come around very often. We wanted more drinks and plates to go with our appetizer but did not get them. The place is very nice and fun but the service was not great.

Dante was our waiter. It wasn’t that busy when we got there. It took 30 min for everyone to get the water they asked for and silverware to eat appetizers. We finally got all of our drinks, and appetizers. Food was good, hot and as ordered. But the most rude thing happened when we paid our bill that was $122. We paid with cash, a hundred and a fifty. Was not asked if we needed change. He took the other couples cards, and said thank y’all have a nice evening. Our change was never brought back to our table and he was never seen again. We would have left more than a $28 tip had he returned. It’s the fact he didn’t ask if we needed change. Your servers should not assume we don’t need change. That is OUR decision, not his.

We waited more than 15 minutes until someone took care of us. And then, the pasta dishes were disgusting. Interestingly, nobody cares. Don’t go there! We won’t return and would love to give 0 points.

The staff made our night wonderful! My husband is a fan of John and the manager came by and gave him an autographed picture! Everything we ate was delicious. Short rib was a fav and the drinks were fun! We were visiting family in GA and drove over an hour to enjoy this experience. Well worth it!

It was our first time at Taffer’s and it was great!! Dante was our server and he was friendly & helpful!! We arrived around 6pm on Saturday and it wasn’t too crowded. But by 7pm the entire restaurant was full! It wasn’t noisy despite all the people and the ambience was nice. We got the Taffer’s Tasters cocktail flight and it was awesome!!! Perfect way to try different ones to see what you like. The lemonade cocktail is AMAZING! We also had the Poutine and pretzel for appetizers then split the fish & chips. It was all delicious. For dessert, we had the Ultimate - let me just say, hope you like dessert!! lol. 4 desserts in one so make sure you plan to share with the table!! Overall the entire experience was wonderful & we will definitely be back.

We have been here a few times. Made a reservation for Friday at 6:45, arrived on time and seated promptly in the empty restaurant-next to the bathroom. We requested a different table, 15 minutes later our request was granted. We ordered fish and chips which was not good. Mushy crust and small portions. Fries were the opposite - burned.

I recommend the Bubble2 cocktail! It is fun and delicious. We went with a group, had reservations but it was Monday so they weren't really needed. The service and food was top notch. I had the Mushroom and ricotta flatbread and the brussell sprouts appetizer and they were great!

It’s interesting the question about value because I didn’t go there for value. I had a drink on the campfire and it was excellent. My husband had an old-fashioned his standard and he said it was very good. The service was very good. I had the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings it was OK, it was rather noisy but it is a busy place where I recommend you have a reservation. I definitely will go there again but it is not gonna be a cheap family meal.

Great place to take my wife on a date. Fantastic environment, comfortable to hang out, food was of high quality. The cocktail flight is a great idea and we enjoyed trying the different drinks. Appetizers were on point too.

Always great food and vibe at this restaurant. The service seems to continuously have issues. We put our order in with the waiter and 20 mins later he came back to inform us someone threw away his notebook and we’d all have to reorder. No apology or other explanation. After dinner we had drinks at the bar. Our bartender was rude and extremely slow. He would take a drink order, go talk to the other bartenders then either make our drinks or come back to ask what we ordered again. Too bad because this is a great spot for food, sports, and atmosphere.

Check your bank statements after you leave. We were charged 4 times for everyone at the table. We had 4 couples at the table, and we each got our own receipt but somehow my card was used for each receipt. Not to mention the waitress completely messed up what was on the tabs for each couple— since everything was taking so long we took them how they were, but one card was used for all 4 receipts even though everyone provided cards.

The ambiance was good, the food was mediocre, and the service was subpar. Overall value was poor. There are many other options in the area that offer a better dining experience!

Great food, ambience and a waiter was great ! Wonderful location in downtown historic Alpharetta. After eating we walked over to take pictures in front of the Christmas tree. A great way to spend Christmas Eve.

Great place to eat in downtown Alpharetta- good food, great service, good time. Had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. Fun place!

This was Our first time here! My husband has been wanting to come here for so LONG!! The food was absolutely Amazing! The waiter, honestly was kind of terrible. We sat at the table maybe 15 minutes before someone came. We ordered drinks first round took about 15-20 mins. We ordered starters and they came out pretty fast. We ate, sat there again another 15-20 mins ordered another round of drinks, my husband and friends got theirs and mine “the cloud 9” it literally took 30 mins. Then a manager I believe came and gave me a $10 off coupon for next time because the waiter I believe forgot to put my drink order in the three times we asked about it. It was also my husbands birthday as I requested on the app. (Even spoke to the person who sat us) They didn’t tell us which drink was free so then we were ready to pay and he told us it was not these drinks after they said he gets a free drink for his birthday (only the lost sea drink Or desert). Either way, food was amazing- service was kind of a disappointment.
