It was a nice experience, Ashley was our waiter… Did a great job. We got there early so it wasn’t super noisy. And we asked to be seated narrow wall and they found a great table. Good, nice atmosphere

Elegant restaurant with great service. Oyster appetizer was excellent, but main dishes fair at best. Snapper sauté was not tasty- fish was gelatinous and had an off/fishy taste. Bouillabaisse was almost flavor free- entirely bland. Nice place , but food lacked the flavor expected in a higher end New Orleans restaurant.

Waiter was not attentive. Took plates before we were done eating. Did not replace silverware between courses. Did not attempt to accommodate vegan in our party although they’ve been great before.

We waited 45 minutes for our entree. I requested a vinegarette to go on the side of the maison salad, the server, Caleb I think was his name, brought out oil and vinegar. The vinegar had multiple fruit flies floating in it. I also informed the restaurant when I made my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, however we got nothing special. We ordered the crème brûlée and I was hoping it would say happy birthday on it but it didn’t. Overall a disappointing experience.

We sat upstairs outside on the balcony and did some people-watching. The brunch was good especially the crepes, except the portions were a little small.

Service great , food was way off . Shrimp and grits awful. Grits soupy . Always been good in the past . Muscles half of the order muscles were closed that means no good to eat kitchen should have not served. I’m sure kitchen was not off hopefully not again.

We sat on the balcony overlooking the French quarter and had a fabulous time! Great food and a fantastic atmosphere/vibe. Perfect if you’re cool with a little bit on the pricier side!

We went here the day we got engaged to celebrate. Our server, Jordan was very sweet and made the evening special. The food was good, but the crème brûlé was amazing! We sat outside on the gallerie and it was hot but well worth it - such a beautiful view. I would caution you it’s expensive, but definitely recommend for a special dinner.

The fish almondine was overcooked, bland and dry..roasted almonds overcooked. Turtle soup tasty but not as thick as I like it. Very average food.. expected more from the Brennans.

Awesome! All the food was delicious, our compliments to the chef. Our waitress was awesome! All the staff was very nice. Had a wonderful experience.

Service was mismanaged. We initially waited about 20 mins to order. Our app, salad and soup all came at once when they should have been spaced. Entrees were fired too early and over cooked under the heat lamp and cloche for almost 10 mins. Steak which was supposed to be medium rare was served with no pink, server took care of it to have another made. Second cut was terrible, completely gristle and inedible. The only redeeming factor was our server took care of us again to remove it from the bill since it was inedible. We opted not to stay for dessert. I’d def skip this one!

I wish that they had the whole menu available during my visit which was limited due to Jazz Fest. I will have to try their brunch the next time I’m in New Orleans.

The food and ambience was fantastic. Our service provider was also the bar tender so we waited longer than normal while they made drinks for the waitstaff. The bartender was super nice but had a lot on his plate with bar tending so servicing food was delayed.

We had never been to Tableau and decided since we’d be at Le Petit, this would be a perfect opportunity. The setting is stunning, and the service expert. The menu is limited and heavy on tired New Orleans standards. However, chicken Tableau is an outlier in the best way. Luscious dark and white chicken, one paneed, the other roasted, served with vegetables, potatoes and the most delightful pan gravy. Wholeheartedly recommend. Cocktails have crafty names based on plays in the theatre or known by heart. Clever. The bourbon rosemary cocktail was divine, perfectly balanced and complex. The gin cocktail however was sickly sweet. It was easily remedied by squeezing 4 lime wedges the server was kind enough to bring. Bonus, we were encouraged to take the cocktails to go right into the theatre before curtain call. A lovely evening out, altogether.

I had researched several restaurants before making a reservation at Tableau. After reading the reviews and the menu we were very excited to dine there. Unfortunately the powers that be had decided to limit the menu for the Jazzfest weekend and we didn't know until we were seated that there would be such limits. We were very disappointed. That being said the food we DID order was very good. Our server was excellent and when we mentioned the disappointment with the menu he offered to give us a free dessert as an apology. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but not during a holiday or festival.

We sat on the balcony. There was music playing in Jackson Square. It was a fantastic experience. The food I ate was mediocre -almonds over fish were way too browned over cooked, the fish edges were crunchy, the green beans under cooked. My husband said his dinner was fantastic. Creole French onion soup , Chicken, potatoes, mushrooms and. Cream sauce The waiter David was amazing! I would definitely recommend and I would try again. Beautiful restaurant i!

Our server and his team were excellent. It was wonderful to sit by the open doors with a view of Jackson Square. Cocktails were very creative and tasty. The blue crab appetizer and the Maison salad were both excellent. We were a little disappointed in the wagu steak and eggs as the wagu was a little tough, fatty and gristly.

Seems like a turn and burn touristy place, with excellent service in the heart of Jackson Square. Surprised that a Brennan restaurant would run out of crab legs for 1 of only 3 appetizer's on a reduced Jazz Fest menu.

I love Tableau, but my last visit was lackluster at best. Martinis were served in water glasses and not particularly cold and not as ordered. They were out of many things, and the grilled shrimp on salad were tiny and totaled 3 pieces. This was after it came out incorrectly. I know Tableau can and has done better.

This restaurant is located in a great location and was beautiful. Unfortunately upon arrival we found out they limited their menu because of a busy weekend. Out of five meals only one was exceptional. We did also try two desserts and the sticky toffee pudding was neither sticky or toffee. Their other custard dessert was delicious. The brown butter gnocchi was a great start to our meal and our cocktails were good also.

I had crawfish etouffe. The portion was extra small for a dinner entre. The crawfish were very small and the etouffe looked and tasted a day old. My wife’s oyster salad was just average. Only 4 small oysters were placed on top of the salad. We’ve been to Tableau multiple times and had great experiences which is why we returned on Friday night but we were beyond disappointed.

Dined with clients here - good food and service. I’m probably more used to European style dining where the service / food is served till late , so we did feel a bit rushed to get orders in / finish our meals whim the staff were waiting to go home! Longer hours especially on a Thursday night during jazz fest might be an idea

I reserved a table for one, and was not too happy with where I was seated. My server was pleasant but the food was pretty disappointing and underwhelming. The tenderloin was tough and bland, topped with a tasteless “orange glaze.” The gumbo was good but I’ve had better elsewhere. This was probably my least favorite meal here, besides the food served at the convention that I was in town for. Would not recommend. Muriels, located on the other side of the cathedral is far superior for the money you’ll spend.
