We thoroughly enjoyed swift and sons! The staff was incredible. Our waiter was very attentive and kind. We also enjoyed the food. The burger was in several people’s opinions “the best they had in a while.” We also enjoyed the grilled whitefish sandwich! Bad blood cocktail was delicious!! Would return!

The whitefish sandwich was fishy tasting and was otherwise tasteless. The seventeen dollar drink was mostly ice cubes. It was a rather disappointing experience before a disappointing ballgame.

Have a lot of respect for this restaurant group. The Avocado Tartine (add a sunny egg) was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a looong time. Excellent. The cheeseburger was nothing to write home about.

This was a great spot before a Cubs game! Would come back even if not going to the game. So many excellent choices to pick from. Had brunch before 1pm game, and it hit perfect! Oysters were fantastic with great mignonette!!

This is our go-to stop before any Cubs game. Last night the game was cancelled because of weather but we came to Swift & Son’s anyway-that tells you something! Consistently good food and cocktails in a super fun and festive environment. Always great!

Brunch was disappointing on every level. Mint garnish was all black and bruised. No cinnamon bread at 12:00; pretzel bites were cold and cheese sauce had been out for a while - nothing you can’t get from local convenient store. Burger had no flavor, despite the runny sauce. Side order was a cold, sad piece of French toast - no butter just a plastic cup of cheap syrup. Table runner was very polite and attentive - waiter, not so much. Please make better use the extra service charge and apply it to training the kitchen and staff. Bland, boring food and zero effort in presentation. We expected much more from Swift & Sons. Disappointed to say the least.

Swift & Sons is our go-to after an afternoon at a Cubs game. Service is excellent, food is good and reasonably priced (for Chicago). I had the salmon, very good. My husband had the rigatoni and roasted oysters. Said both were delicious, especially the oysters.

Amazing service and great food! Try the oysters (was my first time trying them), so so good! Highly recommend this spot as there’s something for everyone.

Decent food. Clueless management. Designed restaurant to have tons of TVs to watch sports. Opted to show day of baseball season (two 11-3 baseball games) instead of NCAA Men’s Basketball Elite 8 games (actually turned the game off the main tv at half time with score 23-29 to turn on the second baseball game). Also note that service is very slow at the bar. Hard to get their attention and not attention paid to the patrons at the bar.

We celebrated several family birthdays together at Swift & Sons last night and had the best experience! Everything from the location with the Wrigley Field sign in the background for pics to the delicious food and drinks. The Italian Beef & Steak Salad were notable. Our Server was great too! Will definitely return on our next visit.

It’s a shame that such a great location they can’t figure out an amazing and outstanding menu and service to go with it. Order oysters from both coast and they literally just dropped them off with no explanation of which was which. Once we asked unfortunately since it was delivered and repositioned the staff couldn’t tell us for sure which one was which. The menu is limited and nothing mind blowing; especially for the price. It’s a shame they don’t have an excellent menu with creative and appetizing food. Just the whole experience was blah. Had not been here in over 3 years since I live in the area after a mediocre experience originally and unfortunately they still haven’t changed. Overpriced for low quality and creative menu.

The service was fantastic, we had a great server for our group of 8. The food was ok, my flank steak was tough and the fish on the fish sandwich was super thin and mushy. I expected much better food for the price we paid.

My bolognese sauce wasn’t emulsified, there was a layer of oil on the top. I’ve had this dish before, though, so I think it was a fluke. Will return (and probably will get the same dish!) again!

I chose this spot for brunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday. A couple members of our party mentioned to the waitress and hostess that we were celebrating his birthday. Neither said or did anything to acknowledge. We ordered a dessert, they didn’t even add a candle. Food was pretty good but would suggest choosing somewhere else for any type of celebration especially at this price point.

Great food and even better service. We ate here when it first opened and were not impressed. We went back after several years and the menu and food were both better. Service was outstanding.

Server was perfect atmosphere was perfect but even after ordering three items on the menu about all three items equal the size of my fist. Also, my drink was halfway full for $100. No thank you my question is where do you actually find vendors to find food, the small.

I thought the food was all tasty. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The salmon was good but disappointed with the portion, which was the only negative. Other than that, we enjoyed the food!

Food was mediocre for the price. The pear Paloma was spot on however. We had the cheese curds and French onion soup to start, the flavor of the French onion was solid but the chorizo ranch dipping sauce was a tad too spicy for the curds. We got the steak frites and salmon. Salmon was pretty good but the steak was overly charred leaving a burnt bitter taste. For the price should have went to the original swift and sons for a better meal.

It’s a good restaurant, but for the price you pay I don’t believe it’s worth the value. Would highly recommend the cheese curds, but the steak frites was just ok.

Food and service is pretty decent. One piece of feedback particularly for the OpenTable app is that you have a choice to select “Bar” or “Table” I selected the bar because my wife and I prefer to sit at the bar. Once we checked in we were lead to a table and then had to request a seat at the bar and the hostess informed us that the bar is always open seating. Why have a selection to make a reservation at the bar if it is not an option?
