Yeah this will be a no from our group. Went in with high expectations and left extremely disappointed. They not only got our appetizer wrong but also left the “surf” off of the “surf & turf”. Also incorrectly cooked one of our filets. Drinks were good and our server was nice. For this price, however, these mishaps should not happen but to have them happen multiple times in one meal is the reason for this review. Sides are mediocre at best. Not worth your money when there are so many other amazing steakhouses in Chicago.

We enjoyed Mother's Day brunch at Swift & Sons. It was a wonderful experience. Flowers and mimosa for moms, excellent service, and delicious food. Our entrees were inventive and the pastries were crave worthy. Amazing experience especially for a holiday experience. Can't wait to return!

We attended their Mother's Day brunch, and it was absolutely fabulous! They offered mimosas for the Moms, an incredible brunch menu brought right to our table. There was a charming floral bouquet area where you could craft your own bouquet 💐 (or have your children make one for you), along with a station for creating Mother's Day cards. Every detail was perfectly executed, making the experience beyond adorable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - the food and service were simply amazing!

We enjoyed the food. At 78.00 pp I was shocked to see coffee and tea were not included in the brunch. Mimosa and Bloody Mary were. A nice touch having the flowers at the end

We really enjoyed our dinner here! The service was impeccable as well as family friendly, the drinks and dinner delicious, and the restaurant spacious with great ambience. Moderately loud noise level but our 3 months old angel baby still slept through most of dinner (happy Mother’s Day to me)!

More attention needs to be paid to the timing of the courses. It took way too long, probably an extra hour than we needed. While I appreciate being able to enjoy the experience, the waiter should be able to read the table. In addition, we were seated next to an extremely loud group of people so we could not carry on a conversation. It felt as though we were stuffed in the back of restaurant. Again, the manager who came around or the waiter should have noticed this.

Excellent service. High prices for average and unimpressive meals. Scant wine list. I was seated next to the bar even though my reservation was for the main dinning room. No ambience at that place. There is a big discrepancy between what is advertised and what really is. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Faultless in every aspect. Walked into a beautiful restaurant. Service was great and food was perfect. I had booked the restaurant based on reviews and the pictures on the website. The pictures didn’t do it justice. It is more appealing to the senses in person.

Brussels sprouts were extremely salty. Couldn’t eat them. We were put in a back room where the ambiance was very quiet. I received my husbands boss’s medium filet and she received my medium rare filet. Expected better for the price.

Restaurant was pretty quiet and we were given a table right in the corner without much ambiance. Food was fine. Steaks lacked as much flavor as before and service was average. Seems to have lost its fun factor.

Swift & Sons offered attentive and caring service. However, while the food was good, it was not great, and the prices were too high for just good food. The Caesar salad had way too much dressing on it, the scallops were not flavorful enough, and the there were not enough variety of entrees outside of steak/beef. The beef Wellington was very good, their signature dish. I would go again if we all had a hankering for a good steak.

Such a great vibe and excellent service from all waitstaff. It was our anniversary and they printed a fabulous menu customized to our 30th anniversary. That was unexpected and appreciated. The timing of the courses was perfect. The lighting is darker which fit the romance of the night. We had a great half round booth and the entire restaurant was full and vibrant. They have a fun macaroon cart at the end of the night if you choose. The waygu sirlion 5 oz. was perfect for me and best I've ever had. Shrimp cocktail is HUGE. Go there and see for yourself, but come hungry and then roll yourself out the door.

Terrence, our server was very professional. I appreciated his quick wittiness to indulge in my corny jokes! The rest of the staff was on top of everything too. Mike the magician was a wonderful surprise! He was so good and had all of us talking about his magic all the way home; and also a great sense of humor too.

Went here to celebrate a birthday and had such a wonderful time! Had to wait for our table for a little bit, but understandable given it was a Friday evening. Drinks were great, and the Smokey table side-made old fashioned was a great birthday splurge. Menus were customized with “happy birthday” on the top which was such a fun surprise. Our steaks and the Brussels were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place for a special occasion!

Got seated in the back corner of the off to the side bar section next to the bust station, a weird closet door and underneath a vent blasting cold air on my birthday. And there were other tables in the section open during our whole dinner. Didn’t think there was a bad seat in the house but they found it for me!
