This is the spot for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, company parties or if you are just in the mood to come out to enjoy a mouth-watering meal and amazing signature drinks. The focus for Executive Chef Aaron Weible is to maintain a scratch kitchen. Preparing everything daily from sauces to breads. Our service and meal was excellent. Scallops and coconut shrimp were cooked to perfection. Very relaxing and inviting atmosphere. One of our favorite places to dine for a quality meal!!

Today we drove almost an hour to try this restaurant. We arrived a little early and it was very busy so we had a drink while we waited. One drink was ok and the other was terrible. Tonic was flat if it was even tonic. After we were seated the waitress came and was so distracted she never looked at us while took our order. She told me to remind her because we wanted a meal to go. I didn’t waste my because the food that came out first was not worth waiting on. The Porkchop was ok but the potatoes and vegetables were hard. The short rib was cold and mostly fat. We will likely not try this place again.

If you don't live in Defiance, it is worth the drive to eat at Sweetwater Chophouse and they take reservations.

What a hidden gem. My coworkers and I were in town from Chicago to meet with a customer of ours and we got a recommendation from the hotel front desk. Everything was great from the salads, dinner and the deserts. The braised short rib dish is simply amazing as well as the chocolate cake. Wonderful place you have here. I will be back...

Always an excellent meal. Normally the service is impeccable but this was the first time I was disappointed. We drive out here maybe every other month or so, so having the first disappointing experience is impressive.

This is the GO TO whenever my sister comes to town. She follows a strict gluten free diet. This is the first restaurant she’s walked out of absolutely FULL! The GF choices are fantastic and extensive. The rest of the menu is equally amazing. Grateful to be able to share a fabulous meal in beautiful location so close to home.

New Orleans fettuccine was absolutely delicious. And the staff was very accommodating especially for Ma with her walker. Angelina, our server, was a solid 10. Answered all our questions that we had about the menu.

One of our favorite restaurants to celebrate a special occasion! The art deco decor is beautiful. The wait staff is always attentive and professional. The menu choices and cocktails are always outstanding! We drive 40 minutes to dine at Sweetwater and truly love it!

We've been to this restaurant several times and the food & service is always excellent. This time they seated us in a different part of the dining room on the other side of the salad bar- to the right as you enter the dining room. Ambiance was much nicer. It was quiet and we were able to have a conversation in normal volumes.

The servers were appropriately attentive and timely. The drinks were perfect. The appetizers were delicious! My husband had the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and it was divine, I had the heart cake and it was blah but very pretty. The main dishes sucked. Mine tasted like Spaghettios.
