Sweet Auburn BBQ is located in the historic Poncey-Highland neighborhood, near the Fox Theatre, Ponce City Market, and Fernbank Museum. Hamidah was our server and she was incredible. We loved her energy and she was great with her recommendations. She made our first time experience there 12/10. The bbq was great, Mac and cheese was delicious. But the winner that takes the cake was the corn bread. The corn bread with the house made butter, unreal. Loved that the chef that night came out and introduced himself while serving our plates. This place is great and will tell anyone coming out to atl that sweet auburns in a must to dine at.

Food was cold. Not great tasting . The temperature of the food was the main turnoff .

It’s our 2nd visit and we are always super happy with the food. This time the kitchen needed a bit long and the kids almost lost patience. But the food!!!

Joining us were my son & his wife, both eat & cook a lot of Asian inspiried foods and we all agreed that ALL our choices were tops, plus our coctails. Food was well paced and absolutely delicious. I’m glad a signed up to enjoy brunch. Definitely had to order your pimento wantons! They were crispier and better than ever!

The food and atmosphere were good! It didn’t seem to be too busy, we were able to get a last minute reservation on a Saturday night. The service was not great. When asked for sauce when the food came out, our server never brought it out, and never came back to the table again to see if we needed anything else or more drinks. When we were ready to pay the bill, I had to walk to the bar to ask for our check, and then still waited another 10-15 minutes for them to bring it out to us. They added their own gratuity of 20%, so it didn’t seem that they cared to earn it.

Enjoyed the food, but did experience a disappointment. Ordered Smoked Chicken - expected 1/2 bird as seen online. Served pulled meat, told 1/2 had been pulled from the menu.

This was my second time visiting, and the food and service were just as good. You have to come hungry; portions are large and filling. Highly recommend!
