Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

                                                                  Everything was amazing the only thing I didn’t understand was why they had to take all the food at once and everything came at once we order our appetizers and than the entree’s but I felt like they where rushing us.

                                                                  My friend and I came here and the place looks like the Instagram pictures. Loved the ambiance and decor but it was smaller inside than I thought. Waiters were not attentive to anyone who sat outside. Everyone that sat outside had to keep calling them for service. They may need more staff on hand. They seemed to be struggling to keep up with taking orders.

                                                                  We keep coming back to Sveta for the consistently delicious food, fun atmosphere and great staff. My favorite appetizer is the braised short ribs with polenta. The cauliflower steak was terrific. Our guest loved the tiger shrimp linguini.
