Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

On weekends groups of more than 7 its a minimum of $60 per person. Come & Stop By to be parry of the Sveta Family

We keep coming back to Sveta for the consistently delicious food, fun atmosphere and great staff. My favorite appetizer is the braised short ribs with polenta. The cauliflower steak was terrific. Our guest loved the tiger shrimp linguini.

The drinks are beautifully presented and well worth the price! The food is also fantastic! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a girls day.

Everything was amazing. It was my birthday brunch and they treated me like royalty.. I love it here and food was amazing and the ambiance. My friends and I love it so much, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely will be back. One of my favs .

We took our family (party of 7) for brunch to celebrate my son's 27th birthday. With high-hopes and on a solid recommendation, we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation. PROS: - Very cool, different, fun cocktails . . . the likes you haven't seen. - Pretty atmosphere . . . flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere. - Varied menu . . . decent options for brunch. CONS: - Servers are 'efficient' . . . don't expect warm and fuzzy. - Don't ask for menu variations . . . they will not make ANY exceptions. - Accuracy is not their strong-suit . . . my son's hamburger came with cheese and had to be re-made; my daughter's omelette was made with the wrong ingredients and also had to prepared again. (Timing was terrible as some of us were finished with our meals before others were re-served). - Seating creates a fire hazard . . . patrons are forced to sit in VERY CLOSE proximity to others who are not part of the same party; after we were at our table, a single was seated at the bar and then a pair was put next to us - in both instances, 3 from our party were forced to step away from our table to enable the others to access their seats. - Photo-ops galore (NOT) . . . allowing guests to use their own devices to take pictures is not sufficient as their roving photographer was insistent to capture our experience and then hawk framed photos (for $20 a pop). - Check your Check! . . . the (optional) credit card charge of 3.9% is automatically included; also, an 18% Service Fee is automatically included AND a Tip line is available to add a gratuity AND there are prompts at the bottom of the check reflecting additional tip percentages / amounts - so be cautious not to get double-dipped for a tip! Because this was a special occasion, we made the best of the situation and did our best to have fun.

We went to Sveta for Graduation celebration. This was my second time eating here. Fun vibe, cool drinks and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Sveta was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday lunch. The decor was whimsical and fun like I had imagined. The server was friendly and accommodated my request for a purse mocktail drink and surprised me with a birthday cake dessert with a fun sparkler. My husband and I brought our 2 year old and thankfully he was not too disruptive at lunch time. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer, chicken Kiev, and stroganoff. Everything was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a festive fun place to drink or dine.
