Food was good but service was so slow with with restaurant being pretty open and not many tables booked. One person in our party got their food after we were all finished which was poor timing.

Excellent sushi with possibly the best sushi rice I’ve ever experienced. Tried the crab risotto which also was quite tasty. Really good salad as well. Service was attentive and pleasant. Pricey but definitely worth it !

It took 45 minutes to get our initial drink orders and our amuse bouche. Overall tasting menu dinner was over 3 hours with long periods of nothing and we skipped the included dessert because we wanted to get home. They added gold leaf to one dish that was not in the description and I sent mine back because if it. They removed almost all of it but did not remake the dish. Anyway, I have always liked this restaurant but the service yesterday was really bad. I was annoyed they included a mandatory 20% gratuity because I would have left half of that.

Kinda a weird place unless you are doing the omakase. Menu is not very friendly to those just learning to love sushi and might want a more classic roll. Took them 1 hours to bring out our 6 rolls and then were confused when we asked what took so long. The restaurant was also empty. The food was good tho - maybe we were there on an off night

Food was excellent. Not in the best neighborhood and was fairly empty at least when I went. Wish lighting and general decor was better . Spent $153 on the chefs tasting menu which was very good but I was still hungry after.

We visited Sushi Sato on a Wednesday for a 5pm reservation. Early time so it was not busy or packed. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Tried the tasting menu which was actually plenty of food thru the different dishes served to us. Omakase sushi were very good selection. The dessert, panna cota with red bean was a pleasant ending too!

From 6:15-7:15pm, we were the only patrons in the restaurant… this diminished our goal of being “out to eat” in a public place. And, Portions are way too small for the price but all else was fantastic.

Amazing with Omakase style dishes - the fatty tuna, uni, truffle bowl is delectable. Cocktails were amazing with a delightful bar. The prices are very reasonable. I cannot wait to go again.

I eat a lot of sushi and few places have impressed me as Sato has. In fact, I’ve never penned a review before, but the delight of the truffle uni bowl was a religious experience that deserved written recognition. Thank you, Sato, we’ll be back soon ✨

Great restaurant. Very nice inside and good is amazing! Service was also great. We walked there pre-theater.

Good food for a pretty good price especially for sushi. Servers are nice but only complaint I have is that the service has been consistently slow throughout the several times I’ve been here.
