Fantastic sushi in a great location on the Strip. Prices in Vegas are what they are (expensive), but this did not strike me as outrageous. Highly recommended.

I was always a fan of Roku in LA many years ago. This was by far and away worlds better than what I remembered from the ambience to the service and the sushi itself. Fantastic nigiri and some delicious rolls. Highly recommend the salmon and yellowtail nigiri each with its own simple flair. We also had some spicy cut rolls which were awesome. Very lovely, friendly and attentive servers. We took our kids with us and they loved the food as well. I was very happy that the servers were as friendly and accommodating as they were especially with the kids in tow. They were very friendly and polite with the kids, too, which was impressive. In Vegas, it can be a mixed bag when you hit some of the nicer places with kiddos. I have been to my fair share of great sushi places in LA and NY and Roku is right up there. Check it out!

Sushi rolls were just okay and the chicken teriyaki was tasteless. Service was great tho. Overall too pricey for the 4 items we ordered, and we are used to high Bay Area prices. Sadly, i do not recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to do one for Sushi Roku. They to be one of my to go spots in LA, but this location is nothing like it. First, the hostess that greeted us looked miserable. No initial greeting or hello’s, just a “for how many”. Hostesses are the face of restaurants, and the first contact and initial experience with the venue for the customers. Ruined. After we sat, our server attended to us quickly and with a smile. The whole team including the bussers were polite and amazing. Ambience of the restaurant… it just looked like your local sushi spot, just bigger. Nothing special to make it stand out in any way. FOOD…was so mediocre I couldn’t believe it. We had the deluxe sushi plate, weekly special mixed tempura which included scallops, seaweed salad. Presentation and quality of the sushi looked worse than your local ACYE spot. Scallops (or I guess the batter) was not seasoned at all (I know we use dipping ponzu sauce), so every bite was bland and tasteless. A simple seaweed salad was lacking any real flavor. We usually don’t eat too much between us two, so we ordered less planning to add dishes as we go. That was the best decision we made, because we didn’t finish our food and asked for the check. Maybe it’s because we went during lunch time on a Sunday? Maybe it was just a off day for them. Regardless, a restaurant of this caliber (they aren’t Morimto or Nobu but still a reputable brand) should not be of this quality, service and food. Won’t be coming back or recommending to my friends.

We went to Sushi Roku for my birthday dinner and it didn’t disappoint! We’ve been here many times and the food is so great. The service was wonderful, sushi was fresh, and drinks were outstanding. The shishito peppers are so good that we get them every time. I got the Heat of the Dragon drink and it was delicious! We will be back again!

Excellent restaurant- the food, cocktails, and service are outstanding! It’s the best meal we’ve had out in a while. Definitely recommend the toro with Osetra caviar. I’m still dreaming about it…
